I dare say, Floyd could have beaten Ward/Froch at 168

Froch is too big and too strong.

He wouldn't come close to winning a single round against Ward, and he would be lucky to win a single round against Froch. Both stop him. Ridiculous proposition.

Floyd fans are the worst fan base in sports right now. They make Philly sports fans look like geniuses.

I agree, I mean Floyd even whitewashed Canelo, who was 165 on fight night, whereas Floyd was 150, so Ward and Froch will be #EasyWork. #TMT

Froch might have been swinging at air all night, but Ward would have been able to land fairly often and probably score a stoppage win.

Froch wouldn't be swinging at air all night. No way, now how. He might miss a good deal, and Floyd might be able to get on his bike and avoid Froch's most telling blows for a spell, but Froch tracks him down eventually and overpowers him.

In an absolute best case scenario for Floyd, he is losing a lopsided decision the way Hopkins was shutout by Kovalev.

And against Ward, he'd be outright doomed from the opening bell.

But this is silly, and MVC's trolling efforts are further removed from prime form than Rid**** Bowe.

Very possible, a proposition with merit.

Ultimately it would come down to Sven Ottke as the only man who is impossible for Floyd to overcome.

its not crazy...i could see it happening more with froch than with ward. ward would be difficult just on the basis of his much larger physical size compounded by his high skillset.

For a while, a few years back i was thinking floyd would make a run to mw and fight hopkins or ward...but the tremendous size difference against canelo and even ortiz showed me that didn't make a lotta sense.

If Dirrell could evoke a night's worth of whiffs against Froch, I suspect that Floyd could mirror the effort.
