Lennox Lewis once said that injuries are a part of boxing... champions must have a superb body and conditioning, which can deal with injuries

and Chambers has been injured way too often recently,he is obviously not champion material, nevertheless a good name to Adamek's resume

no, Eddie did not win, I get it that he's upset, just like his fans about the injury, but that's part of life, Vitali got his face ripped up outboxing Lennox, but he still lost, injuries are part of boxing, Lennox didn't give a rematch, neither will Adamek

personally, I belive the Adamek from Saturday night would lose by a wide margin to a healthy Chambers, he's just not the same fighter from 2-3 years ago

**** it, everyone knows Eddie schooled him, it's like Pac vs Bradley.....the official winner is recognized as the guy who didn't do **** so rematch is unecessary, the public knows Eddie schooled him with ease with 1 arm. Adamek was made to look silly, I'd be ambarassed to show my face if I was him losing to a one handed fighter and looking like a complete amatuer who couldn't connect at 50% vs a heavybag

completly different scenario..the fight had to be stopped due to his cut..chambers fought on and adapted a style to fight with one arm and it worked..only what was the point??he was never going to win unless he kayod him..lets be frank here.you can throw as many shots as you like but if it aint landing then it dosnt matter the fact the judges or anyone who tryd to defend the judges because they got it totally wrong need a slap in the face...adamak just isnt a good heavyweight..he beat a completly out of shape areolla and now has a home town decision again chambers..on paper it looks good but we all know its a ballix....remtach chambers or **** off into the night

    EXCELLENT POST!!!:deal:deal:deal:deal

everybody read this, learn how scoring works and shut the **** up about Adamek winning. If you score a fight properly, aggression/ workrate has no bearing on the outcome unless it's effective which 15% proves it wasn't. It's not a criteria, you don't get points for throwing more if you ain't landing clean blows.

Completly not true. NO ONE had Helenius winning that fight. The verdict between Chambers and Adamek is split 50/50. Fightnews had it 116-112 Adamek.

You call those slaps power punches ? Most of those were jabs, so I dont see how most of his punches were power punches.

Its not true that only clean punches count. Otherwise you would have amateur scoring system, where you give point for a clean punch landed.

A lot of the punches are not clean punches but still get to the face or body even if partially blocked. Those punches still count not as much as clean punches though. And even the punches that are completly blocked are better than punches missed or no punches at all.

Defense keeps you safe it does not win you points.

When Eddie goes 30 straight seconds without throwing a punch and covering up mean while Adamek may throw 10-15 punches during that span but landing at a low rate who is winning those momemnts? The guy covering up and defending or the guy trying to press the action?

I scored it 116-112 for Adamek.
I was not impressed by either boxer that evening.
As I've said before, BJ Flores' bias towards Chambers that night was unacceptable and disgusting

whoever lands the more clean punches in that period....if adamek throws 15 in that period and lands 0 clean punches even if he hit arms 4 times and eddie throws twice and lands 1 clean punch then eddie wins that 30 seconds......

it's simple really and yeah defense is an official scoring criteria man!!! it's 1 of 4!!! if tied in clean punching and ring generalship you go to defense to decide!
