    I wanted to stay neutral. The fight is still 50/50 .

    I see Ward beating Kovalev by UD or MD. Ward like aggressive fighters and does very well with them. Kovalev is an aggressive fighter and like to come forward. That style is Ward "Bread & Butter". Kovalev is good and is rangy but leaves his guard down when coming in with the jabs.

    He throws a left and turns his head right, not a good form. It will be an awesome fight. :happy
    If any disagree let me know. Remember that Kovalev knocking down a 49 yr old man is not the same and that if power is his top weapon that "The Nail" dispatched a similar opponent (Mohammedi) faster.

    I'm starting to lean this way, as well.

    Still a great fight, but I favor Ward, with the huge qualifier of "if he can last the full distance". He's got the styles advantage here IMO, he's just got to manage the equalizing power of Kovalev.

    I think people forget that Kovalev is a boxer-puncher, not just a puncher. Kovalev vs Hopkins boxed a great fight.

    Well, he was getting his butt kicked by Chilemba for a good portion of those early rounds, getting his head peppered with jabs all over the place

    Chilemba is also a 60-1 underdog. :rofl

    Update: Now Kovalev is gassing like mad. :scaredas::lol:

    If Ward can take Kovalev's power he will win but that's a big if and that's what makes this fight so interesting.

    After the Chilemba fight, I'm not as 100% sure that Kovalev beats Ward anymore. I'm a little worried tbh

    No Sergey KRUSHER Kovalev would beat ward. Very Very hard fight, but Chilemba fought a very shrewd fight and when tagged actually took the shots well. Ward has not got that durability, KRUSHER will land and then be far more confident to stop andre than isaac.

    Ward is going to style on Kovalev. Been saying it all along (providing Kovalev doesn't land KO punches)

    Hope that you are right. :think I have a feeling Sergei was looking past Chilemba when he should have been concentrating on the task at hand.

    Not a good performance from Kovalev, I had him winning by 5 which was much closer than the judges gave it. I've always believed Ward wins this fight by UD and tonight's performance only enhances those beliefs.
