I must have missed it. He didn't just win, he dominated most of the fight.

Rodriguez is making a nice run. I thought he got robbed against Gaballo. He should be on a 3 fight win streak with a nice win against Russell.

Once Inoue moves up and vacates, he has a chance to become champ at 118 again.

One of the most underrated fighters in boxing...very skilled and very pleasant to watch....he put on a clinic against Russell.. He will def pick up some titles once Inoue moves up.

That was an awesome boxing performance from Rodriguez, really outboxed and countered the hell out of Russell. Only disappointment was that the fight ended with another headbutt but at least the right guy won. Almost forgot just how good Rodriguez is and shows what a different level fighter Inoue is.

He's definitely the man at 118 and is an excellent fighter.

Didn’t Inoue smash him in 2 rounds?

Some very good fighters have been done in by Inoue in two rounds, Narváez, Donaire and of course Rodriguez. It's no shame to lose in that fashion to him because he is just that good.

And Payano. Rugged and tough and never been stopped. Took Inoue 2 punches, one of which was a throwaway jab.

It wouldn't have been shocking in the least if Inoue had blasted Fulton out in a single round. He seems to level up depending on the opponent. Donaire probably would have been taken out in under 6 if he hadn't broken Inoue's eye socket in the second and had him seeing double.

Man-Rod is an excellent boxer and he's a great puncher. Not powerful, but very skillful. He countered Inoue once or twice in Round 1.

Yeah he did great, but so did Gary as he never gave up or even tried cowering, felt bad for Gary as well as he seems like a really good dude, hope he recovers & comes back strong.

He looked physically very strong in that Inoue fight too.
