Harrison did draw with some bum after the Charlo fight, so I can't give Zoo the same credit as Charlo , but Harrison is a lot younger than I thought. He's not in his prime anymore and is a faded version of the Charlo fight, but still a really good win for Zoo.
Makes sense actually...he was a young prospect when Emanuel Steward passed away, bit over a decade ago. Part of the pressure he carried on his shoulders for most of his career was that Harrison is among the very last scions of Kronk Gym.
He was a perfect opponent for zoo to see where he's at right now. I was not terribly impressed by his fight with terrell, but tim is improving.
He has been inactive since losing to Charlo and his performance against Perrella was horrible, but then his performance against Garcia was dominant. He’s not old and not sure he’s physically shot, but fair to say he’s been inconsistent and inactive the last 3 years and is probably mentally checked out. He invested a lot of energy into the rivalry with Charlo only to get stopped in the 23rd of 24 rounds and I’d say it was always going to be downhill from there.
His grandpa was a good tough fighter if Harrisson had the same toughness he could have been an elite fighter.
Harrison was doing well early in the fight and then he got cracked in the 3rd round. Whatever gameplan he had went out the window after that.
Interesting note on Perella, he was a monster truck driver until he swerved to avoid a herd of black cats and crashed into a mirror factory. This might explain his luck with judges.
