Just re-watched it without any assumptions or expectations from M Pacquaio. Pacquaio clearly won the fight. Marquez was an idiot to take his foot off the gas in the later rounds.

Did you watch it with HBO commentary? Bc if you did that probably swayed your opinion as they all were a bunch of schoolgirls talking about Pac as if they had a crush on him.

No way did Pac win more than 5 rounds.

2 of the 3 judges scored it a close win for pac, the other had it a draw, compubox had pac throwing more and landing more even with power shots, pac was the aggressor throughout the fight, lederman had it 116-114 and hbo crew don't have a problem with it.

    robbery???? f**k no.

112-116, but it would've been 113-115 if I was a judge. However, I see this fight more as a robbery than the Williams-Lara fight because most of Marquez's rounds were clear as hell. It was a masterfull performance, but Pacquiao did came back abit in the second half of the fight. I don't agree that Marquez took his foot off the gaz. He spent a lot of energy in the first half of the fight and was still more than competitive in the last rounds. He was the fresher fighter in the 12th.

Edit : Juan Manuel Marquez is now a Welter weight champ in my opinion.

    His thirdway score:

    His halfway score:

    Two-thirds of the way:

Lederman usually scores for the aggressor coming forward, even if he's not landing the cleaner blows.

He gave Hatton 4 of the first 6 rounds against Mayweather, had Toney-Jirov even, gave Jesus Chavez 4 of the first 7 rounds against Floyd, etc..

People need to start realising that he is either grossly incompetent to the point that hbo needs to replace him, or he is as corrupt as any of these criminal judges. There is no other way to explain some of the rounds he has scored the way he has in the last two years.
