I didn't want to get involved but..Pinoy vs Mexican

Last time I checked the JMM fight was a draw and the first Morales fight was a big "L" for Pacquiao.:deal

 

jonhco and domngo are just horrible posters. no knowledge wahtsoever. sadly, the new filipinos that are coming around feel like the likes of domngo are cool and they mimic them. anyway, yeah. most are stupid and know nothing aobut boxing outside pac.

 

I am Filipino and whether the Philippine team contigent win or lose, i am still proud of them.

As far as certain, NOT ALL, Pinoy members in here acting too much on the vicotry of the Filipino boxing team. Some of there are just blind by their pride in being Filipinos. Like other Mexicans, Puerot Ricans, British, and Americans being blind by their pride of their nationality.

 

the thing is they root for them when their at the top. they don't care about how they get there. they just want to share some of the glory of boxers and i don't think they respect them. that's what i hate about them.

for example. domngo, actually most filipinos said that boomboom is the next filipino superstar. i know you'll agree with that statement as most of them really saw potential in the kid. some said, like pacd, that boomboom will ko de leon. but then when he got ktfo, domngo disowned him and said that boomboom should retire and even though the kid is only 21!!! even pac lost when he was young and still he made it to the bigtime. if you don't believe that domngo said that, i'll be more than willing to dig it up so you could go take a look at it.

all i'm saying is that imagine the domngo's out there who disowned pac when he lost against medgoen and didn't make weight. then think of how those same people are now infesting boxing websited and hoisting their filipino flags because pac has already succeeded. they are just up with the fighters in the good times. they are posers. and as i have said before, after the fighters have retired, so called fans like domngo will not even **** on them if they saw them burning on the street.

i've been rooting for the lakers for a long time now. i've been eaten alive when they lost to detriot in the finals or when they blew a 3-1 lead against the suns. the thing is is never abandoned them or told them they could go **** themselves because they are losing.

 

i was sporting a steve nash holding the mvp award with kobe dunking on top of him as my avatar a while back and i wasn't suprised that people from here knew i was a lakers fan. gerry didn't really lose. the filipinos knew that. they were really close decisions at the hometowns of his opponents. pac's loss against EM was acceptable. he fought well and just lost to a better fighter. boomboom got ktfo. but then askng him to retire at this point in time is stupid, specially coming from an avid filipino supporter.

i still believe boomboom will be a champ someday, maybe in 4 or 5 years. if we would still be discussing here at that point in time, i know that people who left him like domngo would be celebrating like hell and waving their filipino flags again. even though he asked him to retire.

 

unfortunately, a lot of active filipinos here bash on BOOMBOOM for the loss ( basing that on Underdogs statement), but its really quite different in the homeland, they didnt abondon BOOM2x, even encouraged him to get back and just shrug it off, its a learning experience afterall. Sadly, because of these fickle posters, some of the haters will again take advantage and post more hate threads

ni ine deserve to bash boomboom but to tell you the truth i think entering the fight, boom boom was overconfident that he can take pdl because of the gerry-pdl fight where he can't even put gerry out despite the age.
