I do not like Tyson Fury, when he goes bye bye that will be a good day for boxing.

He's fought twice in 15 months, it's not criminal is it? If it was he would be stripped of his title.

The problem is even bigger. He is not interest in fighting any live body in the ring. He is cherry-picking his opponents, and clearly refuse to due his duty as a Champion. He is made of the same cloth as Wilder to be fair. Two of the worst HW Champion ever.(Not including once like Martin, Ruiz, Stiverne, etc.)

In reality he has fought once - Whyte. Chisora one was pathetic, and everyone knows it, neither did anyone wanted to see that crap.
Most useless fight in the history of Boxing.
By the new WBC rules, he had to fight at least 3 time per year, yet he will maybe fight once in a exhibition, what is your defense for that ?

And we know how corrupt WBC are and that they are on the ride and will defend him no matter what. And it's the only reason he hasn't have a mandatory yet, cause Warren money literally dictates what happen on WBC HW and would and who Fury mandatory will be.

WBC is the most corrupt and garbage organization of them all.
The other one at least force their champions to fight, and constantly put decent fights on.

With WBC we have mandatory like washed out Stiverne, already beaten by AJ Breazele, etc, just prove my point further.

What's the rules? If you enter into several negotiations and they all drag out for months, does the 3 defenses per year still apply?

Regarding the Chisora fight, the fight did good numbers and sold 60 thousand tickets.

Fights, not negotiation, as Fury is known for his "negotiation" and dragging out.
How much tickets sells doesn't mean a s****. PPV of this fights were beyond s****, just like Whyte ones. On top of that it's a public secret that Warren lost tons of money on this 2 fights. They didn't even manage to break even, any basic math will tell you that.

    "Fights, not negotiation"

I don't know how it's possible to hold someone to account if they've had several failed negotiations but anyway....

"On top of that it's a public secret that Warren lost tons of money on this 2 fights. They didn't even manage to break even, any basic math will tell you that."

Would you mind enlightening me on this? Make it public don't tell half a tale.

You realize a fighter can just stay inactive and act like he is in negotiation and they somehow fail, not cause of his fault ?

As far as the second part it's easy. Warren put very high bid on the Whyte fight, so he can host it, and be on his terms.
He overpay by a lot, but the fight failed miserably.

They expected 500K+ PPV in USA alone, the fight did less than 40K. in USA.
They didn't even release the numbers for the UK, which tells you the whole story.

Plenty of sources said it was around 500K.
Now do your work with basic math, and see how much money they could have make out of the fight.

Same story for Chisora, but the sold PPV was less than 300K.

Again all of this are rumoured numbers, but if the numbers were a lie, BT would have released the official numbers.

Also they would have been in at least top 20 UK best PPV, yet none of them are in there.

As far as the venue goes, you are paying big rent for this stadiums, you don't own them obviously, so you are paying rent to host event.
You are also paying to staffs, and all the other stuffs.

So even if you sell the whole stadium, the revenue from the venue is small. The big money comes from PPV, and everyone knows that.
Just like in Football, the big money comes from TV Rights, etc.

For some reason Jizzora is still popular in the UK, doesn’t mean it was a good fight it was a wilderesque defence of the title.

How about you do the basic math and make it public. Present your basic equations....

"He fought a stinker of a fight to win the belts off Wlad"

If Joshua had dethroned Wlad in exactly the same manner you'd have been able to see the celebrations from space.

"then spewed forth a homophobic, misogynistic, religious rant to make sure fans never took to him."

I guess you've never heard of a guy called Mohammed "Kill mixed race couples" Ali. Or Anthony "superior black race" Joshua. Fans never took to Fury in the first place because he's, in his words, "a fat, white, gypsy".

    "Then got done for PED's"

Which are obviously not ubiquitous in the sport, which is of course not corrupt in the first place.

I think Fury has a very good chance of beating Usyk, unfortunately. But he still ducked him.
