Hell Setanta is hyping their man, it is incredible.

"The next HW champion of the world, David Haye!"

Little disrespect to the reigning champions who would both likely KTFO Haye (I dont mean Valuev) and silly propaganda to fool the british boxing fans. Beating Barrett and beating Klitschko is a little different story.

Haye-Barrett a WBC Eliminator, named so by Setanta.:D
People at O2 arena celebrating Haye, if Monte was the Heavyweight Champion of the world.:rofl Thats funny.

Don´t get me wrong. I like Haye. He has good speed, skills and a good punch and he is very good for the division, but his defense is definitely not prepared for either Klitschko. Further his chin is IMO too weak to walk thru the fire vs. Klitschko. A win over Barrett means ****. Barrett is a Top50 guy without a weapon and nothing more.
I dont think Haye is that stupid too believe his own hype. He seems to be smart, but a lot of his mostly british fans are going nuts and are definitely not so smart. I see a big bubble...

he's setanta's marquee name, they've invested a lot of time and money in him. what do you want them to say...

david haye! yeah he's alright, but as soon as one of the klitschko brothers taps him on the chin it's game over! actually, you might as well turn over and watch the x factor instead!

Haye is bringing life back to a dull division, so i don't mind some hype, gets ppl talking and Hayes fights are always exciting. When he fights, people want to watch and that is great for boxing. So take a chill pill man.

Oh an one of the Kiltschkos was ringside, it was pretty much an eliminator as Haye will prob fight one of the brothers next year.

Sure, but as a neutral fan I cannot stand these propagandas. Haye is nowhere near a favorite over either Klitschko, but Setanta tells the people that it is more or less a formality to beat them. Thats desinformation.

Were you watching the same show i was!!! Steve Bunce i admit talks alot, but don't take him too seriously. His quality lol makes me laugh, but i didn't hear Barry McGuigan say that.

You talking it outter context mate, you must of heard Steve Bunce saying Haye can do it and take that as a propaganda. I'll say again, chill dude.

i think they have good reason to get behind Haye.

He is th most logical choice after Calzaghe and Hatton to be British boxings next big star. He obviously is exciting to watch, and he is Britains only shot at a world heavyweight champion. Plus he did win the undsiputed title at Cruiser, his talent has been tested to a very elite level.

The way i see it is Haye has the speed and power to beat anybody but
that being said, i think he has a decent chance against Wlad, ive explained I feel he could beat Wlad in a similar fashion as Corrie Sanders did, with his fast hands and counter punching, obviously though Wlad could very much KO Haye and would deserve to be a huge favourite, as for Vitali, i have no doubt in my mind that Vitali would KO Haye with little problem, but as for the rest of the division, its very open for Haye.

Knockout artists always get overhyped to some degree. Fans are obsessed with them.

What I saw in Haye with his fight against Barrett was a wild swinging fighter looking for the k.o. He's fun to watch but he better get a championship fight very quickly because he's so sloppy he could get caught going for the kill.

i dont see the problem wit haye...

he undoubtedly has power...and confidence....he isnt like these underachieving safety first 'contenders' the klitschkos have been dining out on for so long....he will bring a bit of fire and ofense to a fight with either brother.....

he undoubtedly does not have a chin of iron...so he is exciting to watch..and he freely admits it...again, where is the problem.....enjoy what promises to be a short, but exciting ride....

for what its worth..i think haye will beat wlad.....he is too gunshy...and doesnt have the best chin himself.....but vitali should handle him easily enough id have thought...

he may prove to be a heavyweights nigel benn..huge power, lots of bottle..seems willing to fight the best....but potentially fragile..yet always dangerous.....

so again, where is the problem....for a neutral supporter, or even a general fan of boxing, he seems like a breath of fresh air..a genuinely exciting fighter who thus far, has walked the walk
