Fortuna outweighed Garcia by about 10 lbs on fight night. Also a simple search will show you that Fortuna's team requested the fight at 140.
People keep bringing up how tight the Cruz fight was, a cherry pick gone wrong, but nowhere is it mentioned that Tank hurt his hand and fought from the 4th round on 1 handed.
This is hilarious ''But Javier was waaaay way past his prime'' This content is protected If Fortuna, who lost to Haney's second best win Jojo 12 months ago and contrary to the corrupt judge's scorecards Jojo vs Fortuna was a raz0r-close affair, is way past his prime what does that make the geriatric 39 y/0 shot shell of Gamboa and the near 36 y/o washed inactive version of Linares who are Haney's third and fourth best wins and he's a lot bigger than both of them too? Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. That's a bullet in either foot and a dagger through the heart of his resume lol
Garcia took care of business against a decent opponent. He called out Tank and I haven’t seen a response. If Tank chooses to avoid him at 140, Both are LW fighters, at their current natural weights. I have no problem with Tank refusing to move up to fight him. If Tank wants the fight at 135, I believe it’s there for him to take. I suspect Tank will dig up another no hoper in his next match becaise that’s what he does. Eventually he’s going to run out of bums and no hope opponents. This is a great matchup of two young fighters. Forget politics and tribal preferences, this fight should happen. Sounds like Tanks team is going to use A side bull**** to avoid it but I’d like to see this fight happen. At this stage it’s probably a 50/50 fight and I personally favor Garcia because he has size and power at LW over Tank. We know Tank can KO little guys but hasn’t looked good at LW. Garcia has been inconsistent but has beaten better opponents in his short career. Either way, fans should demand this fight and not make excuses for their favorite ducking it. On paper it’s a good matchup.
Garcia showed improvement in terms of overall technique (his balance was quite good) and did well to beat the guy in front of him, but Fortuna clearly didn't carry the extra weight well and didn't bring much to the table on Saturday. Javier didn't resemble the fighter he was even a year ago, let alone the fighter he was when he was at his peak.
Have you done a mental health check on @22JM ? He disappeared after Bivol schooled and beat down Clenelo.
Criticizing Ryan for the opponent failing to make weight and being out of shape when coming into a huge profile fight is assinine.
