I don`t feel Whyte is training properly for his fight with Parker!

Whyte wasn`t punching the heavybag correctly here, what do you guys think and will he be fast enough to catch Parker?

Both are making a lot of mistakes. It's funny people keep saying that boxing and training techniques have evolved, but I just don't see it. Parker has good handspeed, but never turns his back foot, which is why he isn't generating power when he fires his right hand. Whyte's feet are too wide apart when he sets his feet and he needs to cool it with the weights, since compared to when he first turned pro he's extremely stiff and slow now.

Both are good athletes, but I think both need better trainers in order to improve, since their current trainers either don't know or they're too afraid to correct their fighters. I think Roach could do wonders for Parker. Also, I think Teddy Atlas or a Ronnie Shields could make lots improvement for Whyte. Both fighters are still young to get new trainers, since the Klitschko's and Lennox Lewis switched trainers to improve their in ring ability.

If Parker will fight more offensive than he did vs Joshua and uses his fast jab he will beat Whyte easily and will expose Whyte as what he is: An average HW and nobody who should be ranked near the Top 5.

Parker is much better than his performance vs Joshua and i have to add his performance wasn't bad or something, i mean he was the first opponent who tested AJ really and survived 12 rounds more or less easily (no Knockout or knockdown in sight).

Whyte has a punchers chance, of course, it's a heavyweight bout but if Parker fights smart and offensive he will beat Whyte definitely, no matter what Whyte did in his training camp.

Is the Dillian Whyte footage in slow motion?

Will be interesting to see how he goes against an opponent who wasn't kayoed in sparring a week before the fight.

Parker looking extremely Keanu Reevesy there. He's going to find Whyte fighting in bullet time; the speed difference is ridicuous.

Like this will matter in the fight. I’m undecided in this one.

Whyte is gonna bring the heat. Parker is gonna bring the skill. Good matchup.

I'm not sure if it is me but Whyte is still quite heavy which I could understand fighting Browne but Parker is a very fast heavyweight and Whyte to have any chance really needs to be quite fast and light..

Parker is an excellent athlete, Whyte less so. Parker has natural sharpness and coordination in anything he does, Whyte looks sloppy and clumsy and needs a period of working at something repeatedly before internalising it.

I don't see too many things Parker is doing wrong here compared to Whyte. Parker is a little predictable and flat-footed with his combinations, but he's always been like that, and tends to make up for it with speed and intensity. His work on the heavy bag looks first-rate, blistering speed and snap for a heavyweight, without sacrificing technique. His plyometric work looks good, a little kipping on the chin ups, but nothing drastic. Good form on the deadlift with a solid weight.

Whyte on the other hand looks plain awful at times going to work on the heavy bag, really slow and crude. He's putting up some impressive weights on the deadlift and benchpress, but the form doesn't look there. His deadlift with scorpion push ups looked completely improvised and ludicrous, and I can't see what on earth it's doing for him. Overall he just looks way too heavy. He doesn't have the frame or punching power to go down that route and needs to be focussing on speed and lightness. He'll never be as fast as Parker, but he can make up for it with consistency and workrate.

I hope both fighters boil down before fight night, as both should be around the 225 mark if they're really serious about remaining relevant in the division.

I agree that both should stay around 225, since both Parker and Whyte are too slow and clumsy at 235+. But, I still think both could use of change in trainers. As long as Parker can't generate power he's not a threat to either Wilder or Joshua. Whyte needs to work on his footwork, timing, and delivery of his punches since he can generate power, but doesn't set his shots or deliver them well. Whyte also does too much strength training. If Whyte got a better coach and is willing to put in the work to fix his weaknesses he could be a threat, but for now he would lose again to Joshua and get run over by Wilder.
