I don't believe that Quarry KO'd Norton in sparring

I have never heard or read anybody connected to the Quarry camp mention it. Every time I have heard the story, it was from somebody that trained at the gym during that time frame. This was pre internet and pre boxing forums. It may or may not have come up when they fought- I was 11 or 12 and didn't pay attention to such things then- but since fights didn't incubate for months back then I doubt it.

 

True. Foster was relatively known though (even though he was massively massively overrated).
