It would be helpful. Too bad this one is under the radar. Nobody's paying much attention to the wolf. They've written him off. :think

With Wilder's chin, it would be a mistake to write ANYONE off. If somebody tags those fragile whiskers, he's OUT. :nod

Well, he's an easy fighter to write off without looking at the details, the behind the scenes.

Liakhovich was outboxing Helenius before suffering a badly broken nose. Most of the shots he landed clean on Helenius would more than likely have badly hurt Wilder.

He was merely outclassed by a fresher, better fighter in Jennings... Who employed a very intelligent combination of movement, bodyshots and great combinations to wear Liakhovich down. I don't feel like Wilder is half the fighter that Jennings is, who's versatile, intelligent, and has good stamina.

His weakness, punch wise, seems to be the uppercut. That's what put the nail in his coffin against Helenius, and was the single hardest shot Jennings landed on him.

I saw Sergei backing Helenius to the ropes with multiple jabs, and he's not afraid to punch with his opponent. I can see Wilder eating a shot when backed up considering his awful ring IQ and defense, including bad habits of moving straight back and leaning backwards to dodge punches.

Watching a gassed out in the first Matthew Greer almost land lunging shots on Wilder, I just don't have any faith in him not being tagged by Liakhovich.

His competition is just comical, and its not a case of Liakhovich being anything great at this point, but simply someone who's going to fire back.

I'm not excited (talking about counting down the hours or so to the first bell excitement) but I am curious to see how Wilder looks with a guy who has been in the ring with decent opposition (providing he shows up at least 60% of what he showed vs Helenius)

This is an important fight for Wilder. I am sure Liakovich will have his moments in the fight, just by means of experience he will find a way to land a couple of punches. The question is how Wilder handles them, can he handle adversity? We know Wlad has a soft chin but he found a way of handling people fighting back at him through a combination of holding/jabbing and his ability to get up from knockdowns. With Wilder that's a big questionmark.

Not a shred of footage on Liakhovich? Pfft. I hear his weight is good at least.

If Wilder catches him perfectly it might be a short night for both boxers but if Liakhovich can avoid those killer punches he has all the tools to box succesfully with Wilder.

No joke just an incredible puncher. I hope Liakhovich is okay. I think I'm going to put one foot on the Wilder bandwagon.

I was lukewarm on the fight and expecting a Wilder KO, but not that quickly or emphatically. Hope SL's alright.

Props to Deontay for surprising to the upside!

i still see flaws in Wilder, but whatever, for now, props for disposing of Liakhovic the way he did, let's see an even better opponent next time around, I do hope that the White Wolf is OK
