Floyd honestly did earn his P4P #1 status. Problem is, he felt once he claimed that staus, he never had to prove himself again. He's lining himself up to fight Marquez and Pacquiao, and the thing is, Floyd is so ****ing stupid he couldn't even try to present them as fair fights. He's come right out and proclaimed both men to be too small for him, which is precisely the reason he's chosen to fight them. If Floyd was as intelligent as he is talented, he'd have attempted to convince people these are legit challenges to him, but he's so eager to get in a great sound bite he comes right out and tells everyone he's fighting smaller dudes. Floyd's fans scream about him not being a full sized welter, but he still wants to make Juan and Manny fight above 140, and you better believe those two facts present a contradiction. Nobody was clamoring to see Mayweather vs Marquez or even Pacquaio when Floyd retired, people wanted to see him fight Cotto, Mosley or Margarito. So Floyd waits until Cotto and Tony get whooped, then comes back to fight guys he has size advantages on who are moving up. Pacquiao is my favorite fighter but I would understand people making Floyd a favorite over him. Floyd is a great fighter, but I have to agree with Doug Fisher, he's a great boxer without a great heart. He wants to be considered the best boxer of all time based on skills alone, and seemingly has no desire to actually back up the talk inside the ring. He can go on and on about being undefeated until he's blue in the face, maybe one day he'll realize that undefeated record doesn't mean as much when the boxer makes sure to avoid challenges during the second half of his career.
Why didn't Mayweather clean out 140? Who did he fight at 147 to be considered the best at 147? Why didn't he fight Hatton at 140 to become linear champ at 140?
why do people always say why didnt floyd clear out this and that!!!! i swear ryt nw if floyd didnt move up to 147 people would still have bad **** 2 say even if he did clear out the 140 division

Stick to watching the NBA, okay? They keep score the whole time, and even post the score right there on the screen. It's nice and easy for you to understand. Boxing on the other hand takes a bit more keen of an eye. I don't think boxing is for you. Good luck to you.
