    And there box off, there having Fulgencio Zuniga ranked 10 fighting Marhir Oral ranked 15 for the right to fight Arthur Abraham but Sebastian Sylvester is ranked 3 and Giovanni Lorenzo is ranked 4 should not those two be fighting for the right to fight the IBF champ?:huh or are those two gonna fight in a box off to fight Pavlik for WBC title sence Lorenzo is ranked 2 in the WBC and Sylvester is ranked 4 in WBC?:huh And what about Gary Lockett ranked 1 in WBO will Pavlik be forced to fight him in 2008 or Lockett have to fight in a box off vs John Duddy raked 2 or Sebastian Zbik ranked 3 for right to fight Pavlik?:huh

    IBF = International Boxing Felons

    IBF has grown to become the least credible World sanctioning organization. For two decades they've played into Don King's ever desire.

    i have said it before.

    any promotor as long as he stumps up the money can get his fighter in with a patsy and call it a ibf eliminator for the mandatory shot.

    Arthur Abraham stoppage wins of Khoren Gevor and Wayne Elcock by courtesy of monster left hooks are no frauds - King Abraham is a polished boxer who blocks well and lets his hands go fast as hell, superbly conditioned athlete and holds both a demolishing, thunderous straight right and that moster left hook. Zuniga or Oral have no chance against him, Sylvester or Lorenzo would be more interesting but still... I am starting to believe seriously that this guy can beat the other champions even outside German soil.

    Sylvester is with the same promotional outlet as Abraham in Sauerland Events...

    Lorenzo's has a promotional contract with Main Events so far as I know and they won't let him near Abraham but trying to seek a meeting with either Duddy or Lee, maybe even a fight vs. Soliman - Maint Events won't risk their investment just yet for not getting back that much...

    Note the bold print in the quote. This set-up may not be very fair, but it has the marks of promotional genius. Zuniga beats Oral, and then Arthur beats the guy who gave Pavlik his toughest fight to date. After that we get a showdown in Vegas between The King and the Ghost! Arthur is just another day at the office for Pavlik. He takes Abraham out in the middle rounds and walks away with a win over another middleweight champion. This makes Pavlik one of, if not the hottest property in boxing today. Fair or not, it's a stroke of genius from a promotional stand point.

    What you'll end up with is a champ being forced to fight someone that couldnt draw flies to a fresh turd.

    Oh yeah, Calzaghe / Steiglitz.

    Go, go IBF and their credible challengers.

    I disagree with the bold statement. Abraham could very well put Pavlik on ***** street...in fact based on Abrahams latest strength training I am starting to wonder if he has better one-punch power than Pavlik. Dude is animal and I wouldn't count him out of this fight as one flush power shot could drop Pav at any moment, and we all know he has a leaky defense
