I don't know why but i have a problem warming to Lomachencko...

    He seems to tick all the right boxes:

    • Supreme skill and athleticism
    • Doesn't feast on bum of the month
    • Seems like a nice guy. Doesn't trash talk
    • Looks to finish opponents
    • Great achievement in his dozen or so fights so far
    Yet despite all this, i find myself struggling to root for him. I appreciate technical fighters, i like Floyd, so i'm not for blood and guts above all else.

    Maybe it's his fans, maybe it's that his fights aren't competitive i don't know.

    But there's something and i wish i knew what it was lol

    You don't have to like every boxer that ticks the boxes, or dislike the ones that don't tick many at all.

    It does get weird though when fans start hating on boxers that do, mostly because they are a threat or even superior to their favorites, or from the "wrong" part of the world.

    I recognize he is an amazing fighter but I've never been a fan of his for some reason.. Don't really know why..

    As likely heir to the p4p throne, a humble man of honour- he is quite the change from the narcissistic cowardly runner that is floyd. Can take some adjustment, sure.

    I'm a big Lomo fan but he loses fans when DKSAB casuals keep mentioning his name in the same breath with Money May. He will never be FMJ in the ring or earn the paydays.

    I feel exactly the same way. Totally in awe of the talent, but for no particular reason I find myself not rooting for his success. Might be because he has some shitty fans saying he's the next Ray Robinson, but then so does every top tier fighter.

    I never got Vitaly but i was a fan of Wladimir. Funny considering Vitaly was the more fan friendly fighter but it is what it is.
    I didn't really care for the WW version of Pacquiao either, but i enjoyed a lot of his earlier fights.

    It is what it is.

    I am super excited about this fight! I really wanted this fight made.

    Linares is a very good boxer, I like his style and technique.

    I think this could the one that makes me a fan!
