It's his fans mate, they put you off. Like any quality fighter they have die hard fans but because Loma achieved so much in the amateur game people are picking him in h2h's against the likes of Duran when he hasn't even fought in the division

Of course you deliberately forgot to mention that he had to fight Marriaga, because Salcheato ducked the rematch and rejected a career high payday to fight Loma because it doesn't fit your agenda. "if you are GREAT you do great things, you don't fight a journeyman" Marriaga is far from a journeyman, more like a solid gatekeeper, he wasn't an easy fight for Valdez and Walters. Crawford is also supposed to be great yet he fought John Molina Jr not too long ago. Canelo fought Liam Smith, the worst paper champion in boxing. You didn't have any problem with that obviously.

Lol Gervonta is obscure yet Berchelt is a star right? You didn't even know Berchelt's name 14 months ago. The **** you make up just to hate on Lomachenko is mind boggling. Or maybe not, you do it for obvious reasons.

Gervonta Davis has made NO title defenses. Berchelt won the title in 2016 and has made 4 defenses. He is three years older than Davis, he has been around 3 years longer, and has made weight for every fight AND is Mexican, and the #2 fighter in the division.

Berchelt is promoted by Oscar De La Hoya. Who advised his best fighter to vacate his belt to DUCK prime Golovkin who is a lesser boxer than Lomachenko and only took that fight after Golovkin showed his age. Yet you seriously believe that Oscar would let Berchelt fight Lomachenko, I have a bridge to sell you.

It's not Loma it's you. Lomachenko can't please everybody, such is life. I am excited to see him fight up in 135 and beyond. This should be very interesting indeed.

Berchelt is co-promoted by DLH, his main promoter is a Mexican promoter who gets along with Uncle Bob. And I guess we will nver know because Bobby and Chenko NEVER ONCE asked for the fight. Compare this to what they did with Davis for a year, while he was being arrested, missing weight and not fighting: On twitter and in the media all the time.

As far as Uncle Bobby 1 and 2 not working together, They are both two selfish, greedy *******s and if there is enough money involved they work together, that's why we are heading toward Linares- Lomachenko next month.

Also I wonder which role Akihiko Honda played here. Maybe without him the Loma-Linares fight would never be possible.

Might it be because he's from a certain unfashionable region of the globe?

That, my friend, is you thinking as a regular guy. Wealthy guys don't think like that, they may have public disagreements, but if it suits their agenda and puts money in their pockets, they get it done. That's why they are wealthy.

This fight fits both guys agenda perfectly:

Bobby's because he has a guy he is trying desparately to make into a star, and is moving up in weight, and he needs fights with guys with good records that will not be too tough. He got a soft-punching guy who has moved up in weight from 126 just like Chenko. The guy turned pro at 16 and looked pretty shopworn in his last fight against Gesta, who is about Chenko's size, and style, but much less talented. Linares won, but he looked a little shaky.

DLH gets a fight where he (and his fighter) get the biggest paycheck they can in the division, and they have NOTHING to lose and EVERYTHING to gain. If Linares loses, but puts up a competitive battle against P4P#1 (and I think he will) he gets more big fights, if he wins he's the biggest hero in boxing.

This was really the only reasonable fight for both guys, Arum originally wanted Beltran (so he could get two checks) but he knows how big and how rough Beltran is, and he was cut too badly to fight in May anyway. Linares could fight his #1 contender on an undercard for $100,000, or he could unify against Easter, or Garcia if he is lucky, but he probably loses those two fights also, for much less than he gets for fighting Chenko.
