Agreed. I'd like to see him win. At least he's got a bit of character and isn't ashamed to be himself.

I think makubu will win this but would really love to see bellew do it.

  11. Yeah don't really like him, (sorry Scousers but I find your accent annoying and there is nothing more annoying to listen to than an angry opinionated scouse lol) but I like how it really irks Americans on the General how Britain are out doing them.

And I think he will win. Makabu is decent but he's not the Cruiserweight Golovkin some people who have checked his boxrec are making him out to be.

He's joining Charles Martin & Ismal Barroso in the recent spate of throwing people under buses who are gonna come to the UK and leave with a belt.

For the record, I think Bellew may win easier than Burns (I think Burns will win but it will be tight, and Di Rocco will do enough to claim he's won).

    Bellew in front here?

Seriously, Makabu is maybe just a lower end top10 class cruiser atm in terms of class, but more than capable enough to beat someone like Bellew.
His power and his ability to come on strong in the later rounds are a nightmare for mister carry powah.

When Bellew speaks about boxing he is fine. I think he speaks a lot of sense.

The problem arises when he starts to speak about himself and that's where the BS comes out. The whole 'Power' talk and what he will do in the ring never happens and at times he can be horrid to watch.

  14. If Bellew wins are you going to credit him or is Makabu going under the bus.

Oh he's getting credit allright (unless it's a British screwjob of course).
I did give Bellew major credit for beating Masternak, because I really expected him to even lose that fight. But Makabu is something else.

Makabu is no Lebedev, Huck, Glowacki, Usyk or Bredis, that's true. But he's a very solid and dangerous CW.
