I can't wait to see Bellend unconscious tomorrow, hopefully the scouse turd will quit boxing due to being a big embarrassment to the sport.

Harsh  but I do understand why people dislike him, I'm not a fan and there have been times he has really irritated me.

But he is British, it would be another superb victory for British boxing if Bellew wins. I personally find it hard to go against British fighters when they are going in against foreign fighters.

I don't get why some people see this as who they want to win, rather than who is going to win.

It's totally ok to root for the fighter who you think is actually gonna get his ass kicked. By predicting the opponent of your favorite/countryman/whoever to win, you're not betraying him or your country. It's just a case of being rational when that's the more logical choice.

  11. I believe I've watched as much as Makabu as anyone who's posted on this thread and I legitmatly think Bellew will win- even though I don't like him much.

People are reading too much into Makabu's record. If Bellew had fought all those guys, he'd probably have an even better record.

Bellew typically expends a hell of a lot of nervous energy pre-fight, which I think partly explains his rather subdued performances. The result of this fight may well depend on if he's charged up by the atmosphere of fighting at Goodison Park, or if this drains his emotional energy further. There's a huge credibility gap between what he claims he will do in the ring and what he delivers on fight night. Maybe a stadium full of scousers might be the push he needs to deliver a career-high performance. He'll need to.

Bellew has 0 chance this is Khan vs Canelo over again
Its funny people are picking Bellew points when for Bellew to win he has to ktfo Makabu
Makabu is relentless and will come forward throwing bombs from like round 3-12
How Tony's avoiding them I do not know unless he throws some back

So you don't think Bellew could box and jab his way to a world title?

Makabu looks like he carries power but he looks a little slow and straight forward to me.

If Bellew steams out the corner and goes to war then I too would favour Makabu but if Bellew uses that long jab and his feet then I can honestly see him winning this comfortably.
