I'm really not even that much of a Mayweahter fan, but I hope he obliterates McGregor, just so this buffoon will go back to what he is doing and shut up! All of the people who get famous in MMA seem like clowns, McGregor, Cyborg, Jones, Lidell, Dana White, Roussey, Rampage, Lesnar, all of them. The normal human beings, like Demitrious Johnson don't get any publicity, and the famous guys who seem OK like St. Pierre, leave. I watch once in a while, but it's time for these idiots to go back to a fringe sport, it gets more like WWE every day.
Thing is they have this pride which they deserve. Hard work they put to get to where they are, after that their pride feels like ego to people like us.
I'm not a huge fan of Floyd, or his behavior, but the difference is that boxers are basically free agents. They have managers and promoters, but they fend for themselves. UFC guys are part of a huge, octopus-like organization that controlls their every move, like the WWE. McGregor seems to be a phony playing a character, Mayweather just seems to be being who he is.
That's a fair enough view. Once you fight for the UFC they own your ass. That said, there are smaller orgs around, though the credibility varies.
Yeah, I should have written UFC. I have no problem with MMA have even learned a few submissions, but Bellator is kind of like the Seniors Tour.
