I don't like Khan, but I hated seeing this KO. I actually feel like **** atm.

Canelo actually knocked the SNOT out of Khan....

 

Yup - bit by bit, he was smashing him to the body, getting closer with the knock out shot.

Everyone was so happy Khan was winning the fight early with his technique and speed, but he got sloppy, dropped his hand and got absolutely smashed.

That's less to do about weight and more to do about timing a perfect punch.

As for the "Amir Khan is a skinny small fighter" - he spent the start of his career being the much bigger man in the ring. He's a much bigger fighter than Mayweather, who fought Canelo and won.

 

I did think it was a little sad.

Praying the same thing happens to Canelo by GGG.

 

Most unsurprising KO that I can recall.

i thought Khan got shot. this was a mismatch from the outset. Khan had no right being in the right with Canelo, this was a payout = nothing more. 24 7 and all that hype all that leonard hauler talk had us thinking this was a fight. khan is no leonard. only the greatest of the greats can jump weight like that- floyd, pacuiqao .
its time for canelo to fight someone his own size instead of padding his record with highlight kos- over the hill fighters (mosley, cotto) and brothers of stars (andrew? hatton, joe? cotto)

I will only accept a GGG fight from here.

 

There were so many signs that it was coming...first the cut, then all of a sudden Canelo is landing jabs..Khan getting slower, more flat footed, not throwing the right hand....Canelo puts a consistent round together, starts to find his range and then POW...fight over!

This was a pretty gruesome KO. It took a long time for Khan to come to.

 

Styles makes fights. As I always said, Khan is one of the best pure boxers out there, I'm not sure anyone can "outbox" him because of his range and speed, which is why he was a threat to Floyd. However if you can punch and you catch him, good night.

Makes me wonder why Pac never took the fight, an easy fight for him IMO. Khan would win a few rounds but sooner or later, Pac will land and a lot sooner than Canelo because he has close the speed.

He'll go to getting 30/70 vs Brook in a mega fight to get similarly KO'd brutally.

 

Khan's team should have talked him out of this fight.

It was way too dangerous and he is lucky he wasn't seriously hurt.
