Some ppl in here like to beleive that since floyd had trouble with oscar in the first 8 rounds, he looked beatable, what you ppl seem to forget is that even tho DLH is no longer his younger self, hes a very good fighter and still an Elite one, when he did hit floyd with his left jab and was being able to block PBF's shot with is glove, it had nothing to do with floyd being beatable, it was oscar who caused problem, Floyd had trouble hitting him clean cause oscar had his hands high and was ready to counter at anytime, while being a bit slower, he had the nice timing till he gased out,

Some of u seem to think oscar is shot or something, I would make him the favorite over the younger guys like Cotto and Hatton, u can call me a fool I dont care, from what I saw, Oscar is still a good fighter and Mayweather is in no way more beatable then he was a year ago.

    guess again :-( :-( ,

he spends more time promoting than training.

When i saw the fight i could tell oscar was shot from the first round. He was heavy on his feet.

No. Lets take a look at his fights leading up to Mayweather, shall we?:yep

Mosley beat DLH in the rematch.
Sturm should have gotten the decision against DLH.
    Hopkins knocks him out.
---one and a half year lay off---
DLH stops Mayorga but looked very rusty in the process.

seriously its not even debatable. Oscar is has not been elite since his fight against Sturm

    :good

only a Floyd fan would still consider him elite. I wouldn't be surprised if DoumB had Oscar on his P4P list going into the fight.:-(

Oscar being elite or not, he is still a solid fighter compared to most out there. Floyd never even had a tune up at 154 and he beat him.
And I just don't understand how everyone is saying that PBF is a boring fighter. His past 2 fights (which were not boring, just pure craftmanship) were against fighters that were 20 ibs heavier than he was, and that's what everybody is basing this on. If everyone were to look at his 36 fights before that, then all would know he can stand toe-to-toe with some tough fighters. He is going to bust Hatton's face in till nobody recognizes him.

I agree Oscar is by no means shot. IMO he'll beat anyone at 154 except Spinks and possibly anyone at 147. He still has a good jab, speed, and a good boxing IQ. Not to mention he would be the favorite over anyone at 147 except Mosley or PBF.

People who think DLH is still elite must not have seen him fight till the past couple years...

Who would you favor over Oscar at 154 or 147?
