Agree with most of that, but a healthy GGG destroys Canelo waaaaaaaaaay easier than a sick one did against Brook

Well how does it get any easier than GGG against Brook.

Yea Golovkin was getting hit with Brooks best punch. But who cares? When you're opponent has zero respect do your power all you have to do is walk them down and then destroy them.

who cares sick or not sick. He did what he had to do and WON. You live to fight another day. I promise you traveling takes a lot out of a fighter. But not every fight will you good great. it became a street fight and he won. On to the next

GGG 'struggled' to 36-0. The last 23 by stoppage. He's one of the best 'strugglers' in middleweight history.

I would say GGG was either sick, or did not take the fight seriously because it was a WW.

Either way it was a one off poor performance that still would have given us a highlight reel ko, had it not been for towel waver jumping in

    Technicalovkin > Wildlovkin

He turns to Wildlovkin when he doesn't respect his opponent's power.

GGG just isn't that good, that's the issue. Same thing every fight and Kell was simply outboxing him with subtle movements and rapid combinations. GGG's defense is non-existent and he has no recourse when his opponent is on the offensive. He simply sits there like a deer in the headlights and gets hit.

It took a sick looking GGG less than 5 rds to stop a big welter, considered by many here the best ww now, and he still gets **** for it. :watchout:

Golovkin might well look bad again the next time he's up against a with as much speed, skill, courage and toughness as Brook.

well, now we know that brook does have a bit of power when his back is against the wall.

brook at 154 could be interesting. spence, canelo, charlo, brook

Yeah maybe he should summon up one of the Smith brothers it seems to be good enough for Ward and the Mexican fanny.

I think that could be said about any fighter, though. Speed, skill, and courage is a tough package to contend with. However, it can't be Golovkin's "kryptonite" because Gennady did get to him...in the first round, he had Brook momentarily stunned with his body hook + head hook, the first time he landed cleanly
