I don't rate Crawford

Should Gamboa not be able to hurt or even touch Crawford, since he was shorter?

 

He made Postol look toothless. The same guy who went life and death with a prime Josh Taylor two years later. I agree his P4P status is insane given his (lack of) pedigree at WW. I do think he's a talented fighter though. Re-signing with Top Rank was a terrible career move.

I also don't get how people use the Gamboa fight to bring him down. He beat Gamboa who was a deservedly celebrated fighter at the time. It's not like he dragged Gamboa up to WW. He fought him in his best weightclass. You can use that fight to say he might be chinny. That's valid.

 

1) Spence doesn't do anything better than Bud. And unlike Spence, Crawford isn't a drunk.

2) Crawford would be too versatile and skilled for Porter.

3) As for Garcia. Crawford literally only has to turn southpaw and move a little. Crawford will school Danny and possibly stop him.

 

Lol, like Gamboa wasnt fast, powerful and skilled.
Just because Gamboa was the smaller man, doesnt mean it was a miracle that he hurt Crawford.

Tbh... I don't get it either beat everyone whose put infront of him and is multiple weight world champion so kudos but when I watch him I never find myself seeing what many others see that he's elite... I just watch him and think.. Yeah he's good... But I'd still want to see him in with spence... Who I think is pretty much the same level

There's no disrespect to Crawford meant in this post... Just I don't think welter is a particularly good division... Everyone is around a certain level.. But will any of them ever hang with an elite atg in a h2h match up.. Don't think so

Thurman would get wrecked by both Spence and Crawford, who are a level above the rest of the pack, Manny is currently part of the rest.

 

Crawford is very good and a complete fighter. His problem is resigning with Arum when pbc has all the talent at ww. It was a dumb move and will probably end up hurting his legacy.
