The guy at 24 years old, has just fought Pulev.


Meanwhile, Jarrell Miller, at the age of 30, is refusing to travel, turning down the fight and taking on a 41 year old Adamek.


Miller should have been in that ring tonight, showing us what he's capable of.....
But he ducked Pulev.

You’re absolutely right,many times I’ve wanted to get into following Miller but the guy makes it impossible for me at least with his attitude to getting fatter than the rest and content finding guys with a bit of a name but totally past it all the same.
I suspect ever since Hearn told him if he looked good against a Wach or any of those others in that league he’d get him AJ fight,problem being he never looks good and wins by weight n size.
Way I see it the entire division is finally fighting each other and yet Miller isn’t involved,gets my back up lol.

 

Props for taking the fight, but I’ve been less than convinced by his performances. At 22 fights into his pro career I personally fail to see how he can bridge that gap to elite level, even though he’s only 24. Boxers rarely reinvent themselves, and unfortunately Hughie needs to go back to basics and put himself back together again, if he wants to be the best. All in my opinion, of course.

Made thread a week ago about it having the potential to be the most boring fight of the year and obviously I stand by that statement.Without coming across as a nob I have some empathy for Cut Throat and others who predicted big things from Fury and Pulev.
Can’t say much without seeing it but is it possible the Nasty cut curtailed Hugies intentions of basting him out?(suspect not)as he’s got previous form for talking up the win and doing the exact opposite.
That said it’s a shame about the cut as he also has previous for that n all,don’t like seeing anyone have to go ten rounds with a bad cut like that.

 

He’s young enough but the harsh truth is nobody fears him and he doesn’t seem to know what kind of a fighter he is,suspect he’s one who thinks slick means throwing hardly anything and moving round the ring.
Tyson Fury Wlad win aside had two good wins over Chisora,second win he looked devastating,not even sure Hugie could beat Chisora now,could maybe hug him to a decision but still.
Really hope he can rebuild as Groves did,needs to stop entertaining thoughts of beating the top ten and get back to winning regularly.

Hughie and Parker are quite even at this point. One lacks power the other lacks willpower...

 

The cut was a concerned early but hughie corner did a magnificent job making it a non factor.
There was no urgency, no shade of Ali in Hughie part knowing that he need a knock out to win a decision out of Bulgaria.

 

Hughie is gonna be shot before age 30.

At this rate he will be,someone’s at fault here as naturally the guys gonna believe he’s top ten,cannot understand though what his trainer are seeing to put him in with these guys as he’s not not even close is he?
Just remembered the delusion surrounding his Parker loss,that delusion has only harmed him in this case.
