I don't really understand the hate for Wilder.

Nobody hates him really.
We just make fun of him.

Yeah it seems to be exactly this. All its guna take is for Wilder to face and beat somebody of quality. Its more frustration over hate with Wilder, he says so much we just need him to back it up.

I don't understand why people don't understand the dislike for Wilder. From what he does (or doesn't do), says, tweets etc isn't it obvious ?

wilder is a bum lovin fraud. GGG was previously in this classification, even GGG has stepped up and fought two meaningful competive fights jacobs and canelo.

wilder has a lot to prove as of yet he has done nothing.

 

Harsh on GGG. Before Canelo/Jacobs... Murray, Stevens, Monroe Jr, Lemiux, Rosado and Geale were all good opponents especially considering the other top guys ducked him.

Fair point, Wilder has got lots of unfair criticism recently.

But part of it was brought on himself:

- his selection of opponents until the last year was horrible. He got a reputation for can-crushing, and now even when he wants good fights people don't believe him anymore.
- he says lots of stupid things on social media. No, he isn't greater than Tyson or Ali, that's just delusional.
- he has delusional fans who think that Povetkin/Wawzyrk/Ortiz all suddenly took PEDs because they are scared of Wilder. That's not true, those who are guilty were always on PEDs and just had to do VADA for the WBC.
