The guy is head and shoulders above his competition, knocking guys out left and right.

If he were to be defeated, maybe it would be at the hands of a pure boxer

Has Nonito ever faced a smart boxer puncher before??

Agreed. It will take a special fighter to beat Nonito.

If he can beat Mares and Rigendeaux, he'd have to,not only be right up there in current p4p, but his ATG ranking would shoot right up the list.

yeah, now he is way more patient thanks to Robert Garcia and that enables him to break down his opponents way easier than before and the Ko's are coming easier too

Mares would have to brawl to stand a chance and that could be fatal and Rigo is chinny and too inexperienced in the pros imo

My only problem is that he doesn't throw enough punches, but he is a special fighter. Tremendous power in either hand. It's going to take a guy bigger and faster to beat him. Rigo could do it, but you don't know if he can handle Nonito's power for 12 rounds. Mares would be doing what Arce did, walking right into the jaws of the lion and getting knocked out. I don't see anyone at 122-130 that I would favor over Nontio.

I think Rigondeaux has a shot, it's all dependant on his chin though. If its shaky then Donaire will finish him, problem with Rigo is we've not seen him in with the top talents at the weight to be sure how he would perform, but i wouldn't right him off just yet.

I'd be confident Donaire would beat Mares, i also think he'd beat anyone at 126.

Nonito's only glaring weakness is his lack of an inside game. If someone were able to take the fight on the inside against him, they could rough up Donaire. Of course, consistently getting on the inside against Donaire is no easy task.

Mares may lose to Nonito, he's not going to be able to absorb his punches, that would be a bad strategy and it would ruin him. He'd have to apply smart pressure and he will be hit, but absorbing too much would not be good.

Rigo can possibly outbox Nonito, but again, how he will respond to a punch that Nonito lands will really be important. Rigo seems to get hurt by the first punch a person lands, but he is so slick that he doesn't have to worry about it much, but with Nonito he will have to worry, as he is quick and throws from different angles.

Nonito its just so sharp and accurate with his punches. His hands speed is really good too, and he has a great eye for openings. He's just a natural fighter and the more disciplined he gets, the more unstoppable force he becomes. I love watching Nonito fight! I like how he called out Arum and Oscar to make the Mares fight since Mares is talking all this ****! :D
