Golovkins words were that he would fight anyone from 154 to 168. He was offered arguably the biggest fight of his career at 168 (where he said he would happily compete) against a top 5 opponent and what any sensible and knowledgeable boxing fan ( which rules you and the rest of the GGG fanbase out) knows would have been a much larger stepping stone to getting bigger fights than beating up ANOTHER blown up LMW. And he DUCKED him.

You've pretty much said that him beating up a unranked LMW would do more for him in terms of exposure than beating a undefeated, top 5 SMW, and title holder on HBO. You're a fcking idiot, son.

 

It would have probably been the biggest fight of his career (barely), but it wasn't big enough to warrant moving up and fighting a very risky opponent, instead of staying and try gaining exposure at his own weight division first before moving up.

I am not gonna reply to the other stuff because it's pretty much just baseless assumptions and things that I have never actually said.

 

Fight with Oost was changed due to business reasons, like most matchmaking. Also, Oosten had just had issues making 168 weight which probably also played into it. Plus thats about the time DiBella started talking about Macklin matchup at 160, hinting that a Martinez fight might be a quid pro down the road.

Its quite amusing to see some people making such effort to rag on GGG and his fans, even getting nasty about it. But that just means GGG is doing something right, you cant rise to the top in boxing without attracting your fair share of haters.

 

It was changed because Oost refused the counter offer of a catchweight at 164 which Golovkin and Sanchez knew he would refuse considering Oost has trouble just reaching 168. But according to Golovkin and his ******ed fanboys, he'll fight ANYONE from 154 to 168, so that was a blatant duck by Golovkin. There was no reason for it not to take place so nice try.

The reason people are ragging on Golovkin is because his fanbase is the most unintelligent of any and that includes the *******s and *****'s. The vast majority of his fans are trolls like Forza and Farmboxer, and the rest don't know **** about boxing or the business aspects of it hence their ridiculous "Floyd and Ward of ducking Triple G" rhetoric. The guys best win is Macklin FFS. Wake up, fool.

 

I never said floyd is ducking GGG, I'm a fan of floyd and I don't want to see him fight any legit 154lb fighter. He is much too small, even small at 147.

Btw macklin was top 10 and a very solid win.
