Because this is really going to come alive in Classic. A general thread if I've ever seen one.

I think very highly of him but I don’t see him as a great either. A bit too robotic and his punching power is somewhat overrated. Very good, strong, well-schooled fighter though.

He's impressed me the last 2 fights. He's legitimately a very good boxer. I dont, however, understand what people are watching when they think he's just going to steamroll Crawford like he did a bunch of stationary targets.

Dominated Peterson, which was quite impressive.
Spence showed techniques he had not shown before.

Spence kept just touching Peterson with his lead hand. Probing, feinting, measuring. Peterson was completely lost.
And when Peterson would try and get on the inside, Spence would control him with the lead hand. Stiff arming and head control.

Against Brook it was more of: Jab-Follow up punch, Jab-Follow up punch.
Everything was set up by a simple jab and Brook was able to read through it. Spence rarely probed or looked to control the space between him and Brook.

Spence overpowered Brook, but he completely outclassed Peterson.
There is a lot a potential in Spence.

Spence isn't flashy. He's just powerful, fearless, and relentless. No fancy moves, really, he just comes right at you and wears you down with perfect combinations, set up by lovely feints.

Also, he may be the best body puncher in the sport today. And that uppercut would make Mike Tyson jealous.

He also has deceptively good defense. Deceptive, because the movements are subtle. Very much like Golovkin, but with faster hands.

Bud has elite-level talent, but I don't think he has the power at 147 to keep Spence off of him. He has the footwork to negate much of Spence's attack, but if / when he gets caught, I just don't see how he'll survive.

Thurman may (arguably) hit slightly harder than Spence, but Thurman dances a lot and tries to set up varied offensive attacks, which gives his opponent time to think. Spence doesn't let his opponents breath. He's just always right there in your face.

It should be a brilliant clash of styles, though, and only a fool would say Crawford has no chance.

Straight up and down, no special effects, like TBE would say.

Also, don't forget that Spence is a southpaw, and he has a 72" reach.

He has the potential to be great. His style isnt slick its rough and rugged and aggresive, Usually a style that suffers when put in against equally skilfull slick Boxers but that hasnt happened yet. He does what he does and i think he does it as well as it can be done. We will find out in due time whether he earns greatness.
