He certainly won`t catch Canelo with a many jabs as he caught Yarde with and I feel Canelo could beat Yarde.

I think it will be a cae of whoever gasses first or finds their second wind first, those body shots Kov hit yarde with would do bad damage to Canelo`s small waist though.

His punch resistance..his timing with his rt hand. Every hard clean shot he takes has his eyes rolling in back of his head. Watching him fight has me on the edge of my seat because one or two can take him out at this point. He was saved by the bell at one point against Yarde. If that was one of the other Champs he would have been knocked out.

The Canelo hype train is on full steam ahead. Who has Canelo beat at 168? Rocky Fielding lol. Lets see Canelo beat a top ranked 168 pounder before we start talking about Kovalev. Canelo would struggle with Benavidez. Kovalev is a top rated 175 pounder with elite level experience. Is Kov a bit of a glass cannon? Yes, but he's taking hard shots from big men. Lets see how Canelo would do against a 175 pound Ward, Pascal, Alvarez and Yarde.

    Questions fellas:

How will Cinnamon deal with a hard hitting 175lber & how much will that weight jump slow him down?! & Can Canelos power carry up to 175?! Does he hit harder than Yarde?! I know Yarde is as yet unproven but the guy is built like a CW! He's huge for a LHW.. Just in pure physiological terms I can't imagine the smaller Canelo hitting as hard as him.. can't see it myself.. faster & more explosive maybe but I bet Yarde weighed over 190 fight night..

Yes Kovalev is a fading force & maybe a bit soft to the body now but it's not a gimme this one!

Canelo is going to carve kovalev up with ease anyone with a pair of eyes can see kovalev is a shell of himself. He's slow, lost his power, poor reflexes and has no inside game to speak of

Nah. If he wasn't in great shape against Yarde, he would've been KO'd. He got hit with some monster shots and weathered the storm.

Look I know where you're coming from as I keep saying the same about Canelo.I think at some point though you gotta ask yourself when did Canelo ever carve anyone up?

Kovalev is made for Canelo. I think Canelo stops him.

Kov is on the cusp of being a huge disappointment once again.

Canelo knows Kovalev is in the twighlight of his career , his blueprint has been written any decent defence and good body work and he is done ..

Canelo has both abilities in abundance ..
