Kov is such a bigger man. That jab is still world class. The right hand is lethal.

If Clenelo had dominated GGG i would have confidence....but he didn't. Kov is similar in many ways but he's also just so much bigger.

It’s called having judges, ref, commission in your pocket and issuing a rehydration clause.
    Then eating Mexican beef.

For the same reasons he fought Trout, Mayweather, Lara, Golovkin, Jacobs.

Canelo fighting a stationary fighter with poor defense no inside game and who is soft in the body = carving

Ill be betting on Kova if theres no weight gimmicks... but Kovas ready to be beat imo, I could see a sharp, primed out Canelo walking forward ala Golovkin 2 ripping body shots to a fatiguing Kova.

That being said... again, I'll be betting on Kova.

I think it goes without saying that both Ward and Kovalev from the first fight beat Canelo in very dominant fashion

Go and then I'll take that, not that I want Canelo to win but he's probably got the best liver punch of anyone.
Don't know if you follow MMA but last week Daniel Cormier got carved up big time to the body and Joe Rogan brought up Canelo and his brutal body punches.
He said those that go on about folk quitting when they get done in the liver, don't understand what it's like?apparently the body just shuts down.
Still Canelo would have get inside past Kovalevs jab.

I did watch that fight and yeah I agree . I just don't think kovalevs jab is enough to trouble canelo. I don't see kovalev as physically strong either even though he has punching power so it's gonna be hard for him to tie up when canelo gets inside

I predicted Him to knock Jacob's out and he wasn't far off,to my eyes early on in that fight it looked like every shot from Canelo was hurting him.I reckon Kovalev needs to weather the storm past four rounds as Canelo seems to lose his snap after four or five rounds.
I don't like what I see with Kovalev as it's not just the body punches, has that look of a guy who's been knocked out and isn't the same since?

Lucky for Kovalev he doesn't gas out until the 6th, which means his jab is crisp until the 6th, and Canelo won't be too eager to try to get past it. By then Canelo will be gassed and his average pop will be diminished as well, and then the fight will be on even terms. Which tilts the advantage in the direction of the guy who still has heavy hands all the way to the 12th.
