Let's be realistic for once. Mikey is a bigger challenge for Loma than Linares. He has the fight ending power and excellent ring IQ. Loma vs Mikey should be a good fight, but I can envisage Loma dominating Mikey. I can also see Mikey closing out the fight if he gets his chance.

Stop saying Mikey has no chance against Loma because that is ridiculous.

I'd say Uncle Bob is the main reason this fight isn't happening.

I gotta say he's got a good chance at beating both rummy. LLomachenko has his way with guys who aren't as skilled as himself, but as shown with the Linares fight he can be troubled by sharp counter punchers and Mikey is that guy in the lower weight classes. It's 50/50. As far as the Spence fight goes he should be the favorite but Mikey definitely has a chance if he can dictate the fight.

Spence by destruction. Stoppage in 8 or so.

Loma too good. Spence too big.

    He's too small.

Mikey don't bring nothing to the table that will allow me to give him a shot at beating Spence. Not power, not skills or size.

Exactly it's a built in excuse he wouldn't have against Lomachenko.

I envision Lomachenko beating Mikey quite comfortably, and a large portion of ESB collectively saying straight away "who has Mikey beat though" and of course "Salido problems."

I'll be honest, in all my years watching boxin, anytime a fighter from a smaller weight class moves up to fight a guy from a bigger weight class I hear the same exact thing.."he's too small"!. History shows smaller guys who are skilled and talented enough to move up in weight that are on the elite level, have a successful attempt at it. Look at Duran against Leonard, Mosely against de la Hoya, pacquaio vs margarita, cotto vs Martinez, Leonard vs la londe, Floyd vs everybody above 130, I mean a guy with that kind of talent should never be over looked ... Did guys like pac not teach us anything about "size doesn't matter"?

It's 50/50. I think you have to be an elite counter puncher to beat Loma and Mikey is it. You have to make loma pay for the mistakes he makes and Mikey will make him pay no doubt

I agree. Mikey definitely has a good chance of winning, I just honestly believe it wont happen.

It could happen. Both fighters are definitely better since they fought salido, but to me, as good as loma is there is no way I see him being affective with that matrix mumbo jumbo. Mikey will have an answer for it, and Loma is succeptible to counter punching. Mikey wins the fight in my eyes, but I have a feeling arum will never allow it to happen.

Mikey beats Loma, losses to Spence due to sizes, It's not more obvious...
