I see this the same way. Of course the outcome can easily chance depending refs and judges (Oukland rules)..
Forget cutting off the ring. He will have to box at the higher weights or he will find out quickly just how much of a difference 8 pounds can make. Ward and Froch are a levels above anything Gennady has seen as a pro. The perception of Golovkin is a lot of hype with very little substance.
Don't think there is anyone at 154 or 160 who will beat him. At 168 I'd favour Ward and give Froch, Dirrell, Degale adecent shot, 50/50 at worst. I'd like to know for sure though, hopefully he can mop up the challengers at 160 fairly soon and move up for some really interesting fights!
He hasn't fought anyone yet at 168 he may not even be the same fighter there. His power that hurts guys at 160 may not have the same effect at 168 we've seen countless examples of this throughout the history of the sport.
Andre Ward beats him by UD12 Froch I'm not sure then again we're not sure if GGG will fold under pressure much like Bute did but overall I don't think he will I give Jesse Hart a shot once he gets more seasoning
Kovalev will KO Ward before GGG gets to him. Then he will be the B-side, and might simply walk away from the sport without ever meeting another big puncher. Ward isn't exactly known for his bravery.
I think Ward would beat him. It could be a very competitive fight, but I don't see how Gennady will beat him if Ward stays in the pocket and fights him from the inside.
WTF are you talking about ? Have you ever heard the saying, " put your brain into gear before opening your mouth " (moving your typing finger ) This place really is getting worse.
Edwin Rodriguez called SOB Ward a dirty fighter. Why don't you check it ? I'm talking about Billy goat ending Kessler's career at the top thanks to a messed eye, so he would protect his chin.
Lots of people including myself have been highly critical of Wards use of the head during the Kessler fight, that doesn't make him a coward however. He may have had the advantage of fighting at home during the Super 6, but he still had to get in the ring with the likes of Froch, Abraham and Kessler. That ain't a coward in my book.
