When someone is moving in without jabbing or feinting as Porter did so often, throw a straight right and move out or high guard. One of the safest and most powerful shots a boxer, let alone one with power and handspeed, can throw, especially if you 'turn it over.'

The good old 1-2. He hasn't adjusted at all since the Maidana fight, planting his feet adnd throwing that wide sweeping left hook without turning his hips, no power on an armshot, thereby keeping his head largely stationary and requiring the effort, reflexes, energy to dip low and put himself off balance on the counter. Very bad fundamentals

Dude needs to SERIOUSLY work on his fundamentals. Also needs a nutrionalist or someone who can teach him how to eat. He looked in worse shape than Porter

Yeah, you are right. He only tried to catch Porter with check left hook as he was going inside. Those hooks weren't accurate enough and didn't help Broner maintain the distance. So, as limited as Porter is, he just went inside and outwork Broner to the body. Broner did nothing in return. Fair score, boring fight.
