I don't think Floyd beats this Canelo Nearly as easily. These Canelo's are so different.

His prime to me will always be when he was PBF.

How many weightclasses does Mayweather have to move up ? He won titles in 5 different weightclasses.

I'm sorry I don't feel much sympathy for Canelo who's also been guilty of draining fighters, and has had A side judging in all his close fights and even some that wern't close like Bivol, Mayweather.

As I said people are creating a fantasy scenario to make Mayweather move up unfairly to a weightclass he never fought at so in their fantasy match up Canelo has a chance. What they don't realize is that doesn't make Canelo better it just means Mayweather who's not a big guy could never realistically make Middleweight or Super Middleweight limit.

P4P at their best weight Mayweather is light years ahead of Canelo.

How about we pit Canelo vs some of the ATGs at Super Middleweight like Toney ? Calzaghe ? Jones ? If hes so good at Super Middleweight. How many of these fights does Canelo win ? I think vast majority would believe Canelo would go 0-3.

Even though I'm not a Mayweather fan I have to acknowledge that he did really well at fighting and succeeding at 154, which he really had no business being in, in the first place. 160, let alone 168, is patently unfair to him. On the other hand people expose their fanboyism in thinking Floyd could beat 168 Canelo who is more like a ginger gorilla than the fighter he used to be at 154. Golovkin offered to go to 154 for Floyd and Floyd's dad said it best: "My son aint fighting no damn giant".

Floyd wasn`t even a natural 147lbs fighter, he had no power at welterweight and wa just a great athlete who spoiled really well.

    This.

Had Canelo fought Floyd the way Maidana did, I think he would have probably beaten him.

I don't think Mayweather beats Canelo at 168 simply because hes too small, that doesn't mean I think Canelo is better than Mayweather. We have weightclasses for a reason and obviously Canelo is naturally alot bigger than the smaller Mayweather who's highest recorded weight was 152.

Canelo doesn't fight that way though he fights at a measured pace and has suspect stamina in the 2nd half of a fight.

He tried to box with Floyd...bad idea.

Had he went after Floyd more physically and roughed him up more, I think he would have had more success.

As it was, I had him winning at most, two rounds.

That's why styles make fights Canelo is a much more skillful fighter than Maidana, but Maidana didn't try to box with Mayweather he roughed him up took it too him. And for quite alot of the early rounds took away Mayweather's superior skillset and made it a dog fight.

The 160-175lb Clenelo is obviously much better than the 154-155 version. He's bigger, stronger, hits a lot harder, and he's a lot more experienced at the elite level. Sure we can attribute a lot of that to him being a walking PED factory but he is better

And just because he's better now it still doesn't change the fact that he's

The poster boy for corruption in the sport

He has the judges in his pocket all the time to magically transform his Ls into Ws or to do their utmost to do so

That he lost to a past prime GGG twice, the second time of which after jacking himself silly with roids because he knew he could never even make it close even against an old GGG without being artificially enhanced

He shamelessly ducked the trilogy against GGG, against GGG out until he was 40 y/o and a decrepit shell of his former self even though it was the biggest fight out there for him and the one the fans were desperate to see

He shamelessly ducked a prime GGG, the rematch against Bivol, Boo Boo, David Benavidez

He has a penchant for dragging geriatrics out of their hospital beds and leprechauns up from 1, 2, or 3 divisions below, preferably inactive ones, and he weakens his opponents with rehydration clauses and catchweights even though the deck couldn't be stacked anymore in his favour and they literally have to spark him out cold x 2 to come away with a draw

He has the personality and charisma of a mannequin on quaaludes

And he's a pyjamas wearing giant toad with a smelly orangutan hair transplant
