I don't think Floyd was expecting Chino to be so big.

Here's a quote from fight week.

“We must realize that I am the bigger guy even though I walk around at 150. I go no higher than 152. I’m naturally the bigger guy because I’ve been at 147 almost 10 years now, so I’m naturally the bigger guy. I think that my dad has the game plan to stay in the pocket, make the guy miss and make the guy pay,”

Then Chino came in with a 17 pound weight advantage.

people don't realize floyd tries to use his light weight to his advantage so he can be lighter on his feet and quicker, it worked against canelo. against maidan not so much lol!!

It didn't look like Maidana was that much bigger, all this I only weigh 146 is rubbish imo.

Sometimes fighters might get sluggish if they put on too much weight, others use it to their advantage. I personally don't like the day before weigh-ins as it kind of defeats the purpose of weight divisions. Fighters under the old rules still cut weight, but drying out and then taking IVs and putting on 20 lbs overnight just seems wrong to me.

Maidana didn't do anything wrong. This wasn't a Gatti-Gamache case, Chino fairly made the weight and gave Mayweather hell. He wasn't just landing those looping overhands and illegal shots, he was doing some good bodywork that I felt should have won him more than 3 rounds (I had it 7-5 Floyd).

    Lol at these dudes:
When manny fought Margo- 15lb weight advantage aka the bigger man
When Floyd fought chino. - 17 lbs = water weight aka no difference

Don't really know if they are acting dumb or born stupid

I've kind of given up trying to guess what fighters are on fight night by looking at them.

Gatti weighs 160 on fight night against Gamache after allegedly weighing in at 141 (he didn't really make the weight). At WW, De La Hoya usually weighed in the mid 150s on fight night, except for Chavez 3, when he was 161. DLH looked like the bigger, heavier man than Gatti.

Same when he fought Pacquiao. Pacquiao didn't look heavier to me
