A lots been made of this but I dont think Floyd will have to back away from Hatton. I think he will find himself feeling quite comfortable standing and trading with a smaller, short limbed Hatton, landing stalling jabs and big flush rights from well outside Rickys range as Ricky tries to press forward. Hatton will learn early on the pain involved in trying to walk through the zone when Floyd inflicts jarring combinations every time he tries. Floyd will rip him up:good

You'll see a bit of everthying. I suspect Mayweather will stay on the outside and keep moving for the first couple of rounds. If Hatton hits him with a couple of good shots early and Floyd isn't effected, you'll see him revert to infighting in the middle rounds.

    I hope you're Floyd's tactician...

    That's insane tactics.

Mayweather has the tools to step the the side - avoid the lunging left hook and counter once or twice - Why stand and trade?

When does Floyd EVER stand and trade? Even against Corrales after dropping him three times he still employed clever lateral movement and countered or launched those left hooks from good positional footwork.

Why even give Hatton a chance - He wont stand there like Billy Graham sans the body belt...

He'l be adjusting the angles and such, when I say he wont be going backwards I mean that he wont be going backwards. And after Hatton gets dispirited from trying ad faling to get on the inside, Floyd will simpy, stand there and hit him. Its all about range.

yeah, he will...collazo was very effective when he took a step and a half back and launched his shots...when he stood his ground he wasn't effective
