Hmm, which Khan apologist is this here? Wishing to get his thoughts out but not wishing to face the anti-Khanners head on in his real account?:think

You know, what was more lame to me was the fact that he shouldn't even have GOTTEN hit so many times flush - not with the sort of talent he's supposed to have. This fight taught him a valuable lesson, I hope - you can't just walk right in through punches sloppily and neglect defense, or you'll be knocked the **** out, which very nearly happened to him. For about 10 - 20 seconds, his legs were just gone, all over the place.

Khan needs to get his guard up more, get more head movement, and work purely on general evasion, slipping/parrying/rolling, the works. We all know he's got a decent punch, and that he has excellent speed (at least, for domestic level), but now is the time to get to work on defense, or he'll be knocked clean out of the ring by someone such as Thaxton.

Like has been said, the lad has a lot to learn, but fighting like that will put arses on seats, or maybe his arse on the canvas!!!

I think it's a tad harsh to say he has a glass chin, sure if you fight with wreckless abandon sooner or later you will get nailed, it's happened to better fighters than Khan, but's lets remember the lad is richly talented, and needs to take care of his own chin before hunting down his opponents. (An old boxing trainer of mine used to say that to me)

He'll be a wiser man today for Saturday's fight.

as much as i respect limond, he wouldv never been able to TKO khan, over the next 2 rounds willie got smashed, iv watched the fight 7 times, if his corner hadn't retired him, khan wouldv probably got the KO in the 9th

Kid, ya can't toughen up glass. It gets hit, it breaks. :yep

Why do you think Khan's handlers have been padding his record with carefully chosen tomato cans with low KO percentages???:huh

Maybe so, but in boxing you can run, but you can't hide, sooner or later, if you have a glass chin someone's gonna break it.

Zakman, the guy is still at novice stage. His trainers are hardly gonna put him in with good fighters at this stage are they? Limond was the first big step up in class and round 6 aside he dominated the fight.

Show me a prospect that doesn't have tomato cans making up most, if not all, of their first 10 fights.

In saying that though his chin is not looking the best and that was the big question mark over Khan.
