I like listening to Andre Ward but I imagine it would be excruciating being friends with him because he always needs to have control and would stink up the joint by making a big deal of nothing often for petty levels of control.

 

Ward is the kind of guy who will give homeless a dollar and ask for change back.

 

I used to dislike ward but for some reason I really like listening to his interviews. of course I'm happy the wrong will be righted in fight 2 but I HOPE ward does better this time.

I fully believe kovalev when he claims he left it all in the ring because nothing happened to make his drain during round 6, he was completely flat in the entire 2nd half if the fight and still managed to fight on even terms with ward.

ward is always in i incredible shape and has massive dog in him. so I fully expect him to give everything he's got and have moments but kovalev is clearly the superior fighter and will beat him clearly and even convincingly.

i wish ward had fight changing power. the problem is during the first 4 rounds ward clearly didn't belong in with kovalev, I had no idea what happened but kovalev fell flat and looked a weak fighter, maybe weak is too much because weakened was brought down to wards level.

I completely envision a dominating kovalev win. the only aspect that has me excited is for kovalev to right his wrong, over training was his fault and the reason he gave the opening the judges needed.

kovalev is not losing more than a round come fight night. even rounds isn't kovalev losing, like last fight.

 

I expect Kovalev to come in fired up....fight emotional and Ward will take his game plan away from him.

 

Ward doesn't have the skills he had during the SMW tournament. His long layoff and the move up to LHW have hurt him. I expect Kovalev to right the wrong from the first fight.
