I don't think Lemieux will be an easy fight for GGG

I won't be surprised if this fight goes to distance. I think it will be a very competitive fight.

I would be surprised if it went 12 to be honest. if it goes 12 rounds in any shape or form I'd praise lemieux heavily. even if he lost badly.

I wont be surprised if the first 3 rounds are competitive but someone is getting knocked out and about 80% sure it's going to be Lemiuex

It really depends on how good Golovkins defense actual is. Recently he's been getting hit too much. Although the argument can be made he wasn't worried about defense in those fights because he knew they couldn't hurt him.

While I think anything is possible, I also think Golovkin has been allowing people to score on him.

I hope its a competitive fight and that he is challenged.

Somebody school me on Lemieux, I see he's not rated on TNBR as a top 10 MW, I know he recently won a vacent title vs a dude beatdown by Quillin. Can't really find much to be impressed about from his resume, fill me in on why he's not just a prospect?

Ndam is actually a pretty good fighter. He won all the rounds against Quillan that he didn't get knocked down in. The Rosado win, while not great in any way is still a decent win. I would say Lemieux is one step higher than a prospect. He's proven to be a major factor within his division. And I actually believe he would beat Cotto but that's just my opinion.

He's ranked just a little lower than he should be in my estimation,.....
    AT NUMBER FOUR.

Stylistically, ko punchers are bad news for come forward pressure fighters, but GGG isn't your run of the mill pressure fighter. Stylistically, Lemieux should have the edge, but GGG is iron chinned, has high ring IQ, and if he doesn't take you out with one punch he'll break you down systematically. I think it will look very similar to Chavez Sr vs Chapo Rosario.

:good No problem Rankings(especially in the middleweight division) change a lot. I didn't think Lemieux was top 5 until i checked recently when the fight was announced.

Good points. Another thing to keep in mind is that Lemieux is actually pretty decent on the inside, especially with his uppercuts. Golovkin has a tough time on the inside. This fight will be interesting no doubt

I doubt it goes 12, Lemieux might be troublesome early but I think it's going to be a mid rounds KO.

Lemieux is extremely explosive and he's a threat to anyone at the weight with the kind of power he wields in his fists, even more so against opponents who come to fight and meet him head on. I think Golovkin wins by stoppage but I don't care even if you have a very good chin you still have to be wary of an opponent's power when they hit like Lemieux.

I think it'll be a three round war. Nothing suggests this fight will go the distance.
