but at the same time I can't see Cotto steamrolling through Margarito like he has done most of his opponents except the few rounds he ran against Sugar.

    Thoughts?

Its going to be a competitive fight.

    May the best man win.

I will be rooting for Margo. He's a warrior.

Cotto by late stoppage. Whether it be by punishment or cuts.

In my opinion it comes down to footwork and physical strength. If Margo can trap Cotto often, he can win. If Miguel can stay off the ropes and out of the corners, and keep the fight in the middle of the ring, Margo will fall to the better boxer. Either way a good synonym for Cotto/Margarito is W-A-R:hey

Well, Margarito is going to come in like most of his fights with pressure. Mistake. He should use his height, reach, and some distance and throw punches in bunches. If he goes toe to toe, I see a possible accidental cut. Santos vs Margarito all over again. Cotto has a very strong jab and Margarito is going to fall victim to it.

This is not true in all cases.

Against Lujan, Margarito adjusted to keep the fight on the outside.

It will be a real war. I will not be surprised if Margarito knocks Cotto out, but it could go either way. Margarito is extremely tough.

So Cotto is a 6'-0" southpaw that will come in at 170? Well if that happens, than yeah, it might be like Santos - Margarito.

I don't know why, but I think Margo is all wrong for Cotto. I think Margarito is going to beat Cotto.

It will be a close competitive fight, but I think Cotto will edge it on points.

two of my favorite fighters, dont know who to pull for. Cotto is definetly the better boxer. Most of the time the boxer beats the slugger, but Margo winning is not of the question.

    Margarito doesn't get stopped. Ever.
