Great win for him tonight. I'm curious though, is he being allowed to supplement with testosterone because of his condition? Or is he just training off the medication and fighting despite his decreased T levels. I'm being serious here, I just want to know whats the official story on it?

Good question I think. Are you asking if he is still training with his prescription from his paid off doctor or if he's clean?

Yup thats exactly what I'm wondering. For some reason, I believe in Peterson's sincerity.

It's odd hearing an athlete having testosterone issues. The act of exercising: boxing, sprinting, running, etc supposedly bolsters testosterone. So unless he has a genuine conditioning it is weird. From what I heard he had low free-range testosterone which from my limited knowledge means jack **** in functionality & performance.

it's called metabolic lag. An athlete can do huge amounts of juice, then when they come off, there's no endogenous test production while the body tries to get back to normal. It hasnt needed to produce any because of the cycle. So after a few weeks or so off, they get tested, show negligible levels of test, and get a script. Then they juice right back to where they were, after the off-cycle, and it's legal. Like a metabolic loophole they are using.

Dude people trying to legitimize his PED use through a doctor's prescription...clearly none of you have family members who can prescribe medicine...

Popz prescribes himself and his buddies shitt all the time!

People dont say healthcare is broken for nothing!

he's been putting things into his body that he naturally didn't have... aka Performance Enhancers. aka things that were on the banned list..(no athlete needs a boost)

Okay, So I'm in medicine and I can pretty much tell you Lemont Perterson is full of ****. Below I'll post a portion of one of my text books that goes over causes of hypogonadism (the condition that testosterone supplementation is approved for). But basically the long english version of this is that there are only a few things that can naturally cause hypogonadism and they are as follows:

    1) A brain tumor - which he doesn't have
    2) An inflamatory condition - which a high level athlete could not have...and the treatment is not testosterone
    3) Hemochromatosis (genetically having too much iron) - Which doesn't present until someone is in his 50s or 60s
    4) Cushing syndrome - in which cause he'd be a fat bald guy....don't think so
    5) Hypothyroid - okay possible but never once seen it in a guy his age. Actually never heard of it in a guy his age.
    6) Obesity - i don't think so
    7) Poor health - Again I don't think so
    8) Klinefelter syndrome - complicated don't ask too many questions but just take my word he doesn't have this one
    9) Chemotherapy/radiation - he's never had cancer...so that pretty much rules that out
    10) Cancer - which to my knowledge he's never had.
    11) Testicular injury - okay this one could be the case but that has not been mentioned.
    12) Illegal use of anabolic steroids - most likely scenario

So basically thier is only two plausible reasons for this clown being testosterone deficient. You can make you're mind up as to what the most likely cause is....but alls I gots to say is one is a pretty easy conversation to have with the nevada state athletic commission....and the other isn't.

It's actually very common for athletes in heavy contact sports where they receive traumas to the head for them to have low testosterone.

Im a real fan of Peterson but I don't believe what was said was genuine you don't just forget you have an implant on your arm pit.

Anyway I hope he learned from his mistake and he has had to pay for it fighting on FNF

Boxing must not allow this. MMA made the mistake of allowing TRT and now it has a HUGE problem boxing must now do the same

    Is that a recent pic?

Juiced to the gils. As long as he doesn't subscribe go additional testing then he he'll be able to continue taking whatever he likes and not got caught.
