He probably took steroids, cycled off, went to a doctor who say that his nuts aren't producing test as usual, so gave him the option of getting synthetic test

When was Peterson diagnosed with low test? Every time you do your blood work, your test levels are seen by the doctor. Why did he start getting trt now ratherthan before if his test levels were always low?

No. But in all honesty, most docs (other than endos) have a rudimentary if not poor knowledge of PED interaction, mechanism, effects, side effects etc etc etc. If they haven`t specialized in that area, you find the pertinent and modern knowledge lacking. My own GP and surgeon will openly admit that, and are happy i exceed them in that area. I have a friend who does deal in that area though. It`s easily learned through research, and pratical application, if you have the patience, academic ability, and desire to do so.

Yes, there are very few experts in the world of steroids based on what I've heard--in terms of actual medical doctors. Can you recommend any good books on steroids by experts in that field? Have you read any of Dr. Charles Yesalis' books?

it's called metabolic lag. An athlete can do huge amounts of juice, then when they come off, there's no endogenous test production while the body tries to get back to normal. It hasnt needed to produce any because of the cycle. So after a few weeks or so off, they get tested, show negligible levels of test, and get a script. Then they juice right back to where they were, after the off-cycle, and it's legal. Like a metabolic loophole they are using.

Okay, So I'm in medicine and I can pretty much tell you Lemont Perterson is full of ****. Below I'll post a portion of one of my text books that goes over causes of hypogonadism (the condition that testosterone supplementation is approved for). But basically the long english version of this is that there are only a few things that can naturally cause hypogonadism and they are as follows:

1) A brain tumor - which he doesn't have
2) An inflamatory condition - which a high level athlete could not have...and the treatment is not testosterone
3) Hemochromatosis (genetically having too much iron) - Which doesn't present until someone is in his 50s or 60s
4) Cushing syndrome - in which cause he'd be a fat bald guy....don't think so
5) Hypothyroid - okay possible but never once seen it in a guy his age. Actually never heard of it in a guy his age.
6) Obesity - i don't think so
7) Poor health - Again I don't think so
8) Klinefelter syndrome - complicated don't ask too many questions but just take my word he doesn't have this one
9) Chemotherapy/radiation - he's never had cancer...so that pretty much rules that out
10) Cancer - which to my knowledge he's never had.
11) Testicular injury - okay this one could be the case but that has not been mentioned.
12) Illegal use of anabolic steroids - most likely scenario

So basically thier is only two plausible reasons for this clown being testosterone deficient. You can make you're mind up as to what the most likely cause is....but alls I gots to say is one is a pretty easy conversation to have with the nevada state athletic commission

Primary hypogonadism mostly has to do with LH receptors being deficient and Leydig cell desensitization while Secondary hypogonadism deals mostly with GnRH deficiencies....which is way way way oversimplifying things but is the general gist. The Hypothalmus, Thyroid, Pituitary and Gonads are all inter related and basically an axis.....any one of those is affected by a disorder, syndrome, trauma, poor development, deficiency, poor sensitivity, abuse etc, and you can end up with primary or secondary.

A lot of cases (an estimated 4 million american males) come from issues resulting from obesity, Type 2 diabetes, alcoholism, insulin resistance etc. Metabolic syndromes and deficiencies also cause a decent amount, as does simple aging since your test levels decline as you age.

It`s possible Peterson has a legit case of primary or secondary, since it is a multi factor problem and he may have some medical issues with his hypothalmus, pituitary, thyroid or gonads that we don`t know about. But, even if he is legit......TRT is designed (by a knowledgeable endo) to bring your levels into the high normal range of the scale (generally 300-1000 ngdl) through low dose testosterone administration, anti estrogen admin to control elevated E, and HCG therapy to maintain testicular size.

That doesn`t bode well for having a sky high TE ratio on a test. A lot of guys with scripts are using it as an excuse to further enhance and supplement the trt dose, with additional anabolics and androgens. For some, the script is kinda like a security blanket enabling more use.

I see zero issue with legit TRT either. Endo designed and monitored TRT makes a man a man....not superman. Low T is a horrible thing for a guy to endure, and TRT makes you normal again. While it is true that poorly planned steroid cycles that do not have adequate recovery measures, or long term use with no breaks can result in suppressed endogenous test production....it is far from the only possible cause of low T. Pain killer abuse, regular concussions and huge weight cuts on a regular basis are other possible causes of Low T for an athlete beyond steroid use and other medical conditions. Problem is, not many of the fellas on prescribed TRT are only doing the TRT.

I'm not sure it's even 100% if he was tested after the first Khan fight in Washington. His failed CIR test was in the build up to the rematch, but Peterson admitted he'd had the implants in for the first fight.

Whats ****ed up is we dont really know if he needs this treatment or not, but somehow he managed to find a loop hole with his hometown commission and the IBF that allows him to do this not a good thing
