I said that Herol would have outboxed him, before eventually getting caught. Meaning that he'd have enjoyed early periods of success. Why? Because Herol was a slick southpaw with unorthadox skills. He had great hand speed and reflexes. He managed to outbox the likes of McCallum and Kalambay for periods, as well as Jackson, before obviously getting caught. You wouldn't know any of that though because you never saw him fight.

Carl was getting beat by Taylor until the very last moment, and he was very fortunate to beat Andre Dirrell, a guy who possesses similar attributes to what Herol did.

Herol would definitely have caused him some issues.
