He isn't the most exciting to watch because he lacks a little bit of explosiveness, but to say he isn't a top boxer just reeks of stupid.

We all knew Kovalev was going to be his toughest test, the first fight was extremely close, I've watched it 4 times and I'm still not sure about it, but the fact is he has cruised passed guys like Froch, Abraham and Kessler only dropping a few rounds against all these guys combined

Both guys landed illegal shots throughout the fight, but I'm focusing on the stoppage.

After that big right hand, Sergey didn't land anything, which culminated in him being slumped over taking repeated body shots, where only the last one was borderline.

Good post, yeah Ward is hall of fame at least, but then Sven Ottke should get in also, regardless of questionable decisions. Those two victories over Kovalev were absolute jokes, a judges gift and a referees ignorance on repeat low blows is a black eye to boxing. Ward refused neutral officials, its a no brainer why.

There was a man who was slumped over after being beaten both physically and mentally with nothing left to give.
