I dont think Ward is a top boxer. That doesnt mean not a top fighter.

    This.

He only made this thread to try and protect Joe's ranking and reputation.

Look at how defensive you are.

One of Joe's biggest wins was against a Collins leftover.

I happen to know that Boxed Ears possesses a pedalo that Joe used to own.

It was auctioned off for charity a few years ago:

It's the one that he and his father, Enzo, used when they tried to peddle across the Atlantic in the early 00's, in their pursuit of fighting Roy.

If you attended the benefit, maybe he'd let you get in it.

No problem. I had serious doubts you would have been able to afford a top guest speaker like myself

    So.
I looked at my alerts when I signed on, and to my shock there were 10 Alerts. Amusingly Loudon was 9 of them. Lol

It'll be even more amusing when you're unable to answer them.

BTW, I've had 6 from you over the last 2 days. The difference is, I don't run like you do.

If you really claim that you cant see a low blow, even though on this very thread wrote the last was low, then you really are deluded or just plain stupid. Maybe both

As this is your long post. I will address this one, but I am not going to be discussing Calzaghe with you on this thread after. Your obsession with wanting to bring him up all the time has gone on for too long. This thread is about the fouls in the Kovalev/Ward 2 fight.
Yes I did question what top undefeated fighters did Ward face and before Kovalev, the answer was 0.
You are not telling the truth with regards to Bute. I did like him as a SMW, did think he may have been the top SMW at one time and yes have commented about Ward not being interested in facing Bute, who was his top rival at the time, who was an undefeated champ, who had, had more defences and who Ward chose not to face.
Writes Loudon who hasnt seen low blows lol
Getting me confused now. It was you who I seem to recall writing something about going into a toilet to look at nude photos of Jones
I like how you fail to note how faded Kessler was, how Kessler had suffered eye problems etc.
    You know yourself
    Maybe
Yes I think faded past best Kessler and slightly past best Froch were of a similar level but very far apart when Kessler was prime
If Calzaghe had of beaten Froch when both were active, I expect the win would have been dismissed and chances are Froch probably wouldnt have had the career he did go on to have.
    I wasnt correct about Bute

He didnt at first ask and that was Kessler who was faded, coming off a loss and suffering eye problems
Close fight because they werent as far apart as you may think.
To get you to understand a bit. Many would possibly say Golovkin is the A grade MW today and maybe rate him as a top Grade A fighter? A few years back Hopkins was the A grade MW and was rated as a top fighter, but I think if they had of faced each other in their prime, I feel Hopkins would have easily won and have not been sure Golovkin would have breezed through that era. Understand now?
    See above
You obviously dont when you keep trying to sell Frochs win over Kessler
Bit of both, but where he was in 97 when he was able after to put weights in his pockets to appear heavier and challenge and push a massive strong power punching CW was incredible
Williams got alot of credit for that win. He was a big underdog with Tyson coming off a destructive first round KO of a contender. It got Williams a title shot
Big fight at the time against faded legends
Completely different fighters. You are talking rubbish. They are completely different.
Calzaghe having his first world title fight against a formidable opponent. ward an established champ facing a slightly faded fighter who had been on the road for 5 of his last 6 fights and possibly fatigued and saying they felt like an old man

Your arguments are getting weaker lol

How have I been in hiding?

    I thought you'd had 9 notifications?

It's you who's the nut job, trying to compare Ward-Kovalev to Bowe-Golota.

I've seen all the stills and all of the videos. There is no evidence of a terrible low blow. Bowe-Golota is the prime example of a terrible low blow. Andre's last shot was borderline, and Weeks had seen enough at that point. Sergey was done and he didn't even protest the decision at the time. He had nothing left.

    bailey,

I asked you to show me the supposed TERRIBLE low blow.

How was that last shot a TERRIBLE low blow??

It's just you exaggerating as per usual.

Yes, it was slightly low. Borderline.

It wasn't a terrible low blow.

Again, the very definition of a terrible low blow, were the ones inflicted on Bowe by Golota.

I don't wish to talk about Joe, but I again brought him up as example to highlight your bias. It's pathetic of you to dismiss Andre's win over Carl because he was faded etc, when I know how highly you rate Joe's win over Eubank, despite the fact that he was also faded and injured, and he hadn't even won at the weight for 3 years. It's disgusting double standards. If you don't want to be questioned on it, then don't write hypocritical nonsense.

Yes, and you classed Bute as a top undefeated fighter.

You also classed Lacy as a top undefeated fighter.

Joe gets enormous credit for beating Lacy, yet Carl doesn't get any for beating Bute?

    How does that work?

I'm not having another Andre-Bute debate with you again. We've done it to death.

The point is: Carl destroyed Bute after Andre had easily beaten him with a fractured hand, yet you won't give Andre any credit.

I haven't seen a terrible low blow. And if you're honest with yourself, neither have you.

I don't mind you noting that Kessler was faded etc. It's the double standards that I have issues with.

What don't you understand about that?

Below is a perfect example of your logic:

Kessler: faded, ill and had issues with his vision = zero credit for Andre and Carl.

Eubank: faded, injured, only 11 days notice, no sparring, no roadwork, couldn't pivot properly and hadn't fought at SMW for 2 years = HUGE credit for Joe.

    It's a joke.

Again, you don't give Andre credit for beating Carl on the grounds that he was faded, yet Joe somehow has a great win over Eubank, despite what's written above.

That is the very definition of having an agenda.

I think they were always on a similar level.

If Joe had easily beaten Carl before he went on to destroy Bute, then you would have hailed that as a GREAT win. Don't even try and deny it.

I'm not selling anything. I'm just exposing your double standards.

Danny gets credit for giving it his all. And rightly so. But the win wasn't rated in the boxing world, because everybody knew that Mike was shot at that point, fighting purely for the cheques.

No, you are the one talking rubbish.

    Just stop.

    It's cringeworthy.

An established champ? What, after only 3 defences?

Possibly fatigued? You imply that Carl didn't have adequate rests in-between his fights. And what about the fact that Eubank had to go on a crash diet to hit a weight that he hadn't made in 2 years, on only 11 days notice?

Yes, Joe was facing a legend of British boxing in his first big fight. I've always acknowledged that. It was a great win for him personally. But it wasn't a great win in the boxing world. Because for the hundredth time, Eubank was: faded, injured, had no prep, and wasn't even a SMW at the time. Yet to you that's a great win, despite not rating Andre's win over Carl, because Carl was also faded etc.

You can't just dismiss all of the above factors regarding Eubank, just on the grounds that Joe was having his first big fight. That's ridiculous.

Everything has to be taken into account, not just the bits that suit you.

The version of Eubank who Joe fought, had to have been on a similar level to the version of Carl who Andre fought. And I don't care about their overall achievements at the weight, because that's completely irrelevant.

Seeing as though Andre easily beat Carl whilst injured, it has to be classed as a very good win. But with you, it's one rule for one, and one for another. Andre gets no credit, but Joe does, because it was his first big fight and Eubank had once beaten the likes of Benn and Watson. How can that be objective?

After debating with you for over 5 years, I know that If Andre had beaten that same version of Eubank, you'd have given him zero credit.

You say I'm obsessed with Joe, but another poster has also figured you out.

You have only made this thread because of Joe.

Your objective is to denigrate the achievements of Andre Ward, because it pains you that many people here rate him above Sir Joseph.

I've trashed you all day, highlighting your complete bias and double standards.

    I have completely exposed you.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to spin your way out things.

Just like Sergey in the rematch with Andre, you have nothing left.

    You're done.

To compare the lowblows from Golota-Bowe to Ward-Kovalev just exposes you as either completely disingenuous, or blind as a bat. Possibly even deluded to the point of hallucination.
