He's turning 42 in December and with his political position dealing with COVID and international travel restrictions, Thurman may truly have been his last fight.

I don't think so. He's a billionaire in the Philippines and gonna be running for president and he will most likely win.

Hopkins had nothing going for him. A job commentating? A position at Golden Ploy?

I think we might get one more Retirement match. However won’t be surprised if we didn’t.

I'd rather see him retire than risk losing to fighters he would have easily smoked in his prime.

Tbh. I want him to retire. a win over Thurman in your 40s is a hell of a way to go out.

This. Manny is old and he's just one bad camp away from losing to a nobody. I don't want to see him end up like RJJ going life and death with bums.

He won’t be running in 2022 and wouldn’t win. He’s not taken very seriously as a politician there.

I'd like to see him fight again. Losing to bums when you're ancient doesn't rub out your previous achievements. At least, it really shouldn't do.

Actually I hope he does retire. I’d rather see him go out on top than stick around too long and take a beating like so many other fighters did like Ali, jones jr, Holyfield, Toney, Etc. He has his health, money, and career outside boxing and has accomplished so much he has nothing else to prove. Manny’s been in a lot of wars and taken many blows to the head and I’d hate to see him end up with brain damage by carrying on for too long.

Well if that is true I want to salute him on a great career. My favorite memory of him is his evolution with Freddie Roach from being a one handed assassin to a more complete rounded fighter. There is a lot I don’t agree with Roach on but not his trainer of Pacquiao. Absolute first class. I like to refer to his win over David Diaz in particular at lightweight in that I thought my eyes were deceiving me.
