    Wilder has the legs of a jr middle supporting 230 pounds. Povetkin is much better than anyone he's fought and hits hard enough to the head or body to make Wilder fall like a drunk giraffe.

    Yes Wilder had a big KO last weekend, but his opponent did not see the punch. The punches he saw did not affect him and Povetkin chin is very proven as are his skills.

    I think it's pretty absurd that people are giving Wilder a good chance in this match-up. The guy is a complete glass cannon with raw technique. No way he beats a seasoned powerhouse like Povetkin.

    Can't wait for the ban bet threads.

    You do realize that Wilder is a horrible match up for Povetkin don't you?

    HA! AAPR cards in boxing should start at age 50. Just saying. Billy is 51.

    Wilder has confirmed MCI issues.

    MCI = Major Chin Issues.

    Have you seen Wlad-Povetkin? Povetkin had hell getting inside to do any work against Wlad. It was his reach and the fact that Wlad grabbed him pretty much anytime he got close he was really easy to neutralize. Now with Wilder he's facing a guy who's faster than Wlad longer who moves around much more who hits just as hard. Povetkin is easy to find and Wilder will get him with right hands coming in. His jab will also be more effective because Povetkin lacks head movement. Size athleticism and power will be too much for Povetkin to overcome. He will bust Povetkin up over the course of the fight and stops him late.

    But Wlad punished Sasha with his superior jab, which Wilder seems to be lacking. And Povetkin was able to cut off the ring, hence Wlad clinched and mauled so many times. I'm not sure if Wilder is strong enough to do that. He'll be moving backwards as Sasha tries to get inside and Povetkin will be watching the right hand all night bending over to his left behind a high guard. And as I said earlier, Wilder doesn't carry the same power fighting off the back foot unlike Wlad. I don't think Povetkin will have problem trapping Wilder over the ropes and bodyshots. The way I see It, the key for Wilder is to work on his left hook and uppercut, improve his inside game.

    Well, you started out saying Wlad beat Pov with a good jab, which Wilder does not have. But, you finished by saying Wilder needs to work on his left hook and uppercut and inside game.

    If Wilder had all this he'd be unstoppable. For now he just needs a good jab to stop Pov. The straight right already stops Fury.

    Well over here you can think whatever you want, so that's ok.

    That doesn't mean your thoughts have any merit, however.

    It's sure gonna' be quiet around here in the weeks following their fight.
