That is childish logic.

Because you are in a sport that has a short career span but can easily injury you permanently or even kill you.

Most boxers do not make a lot of money and those do rarely have a long consistent career. In fact, most overwhelming majority of pro boxers do not enough to make it a 'job'. Yet they get in there risking their life and health. And remember they have to pay taxes, trainers, and promoters gets a big cut.
