Bernard "Soapy" Hopkins is a black supremacist ex-convict who has never shown the slightest bit of respect for his opponents.

Instead of being a man and congratulating Jermain Taylor and Joe Calzaghe for their excellent performances in their fights with him, he cried like a selfish child after the fights claiming to be robbed.

He refused to acknowledge the knockdowns in the first Pascal fight.

He pretended to be low-blowed in the Calzaghe fight, pretended to be fouled in the Jones fight, and pretended to be injured in the Dawson fight.

No one in professional sports has less respect for his fellow athletes and is more of a crybaby and poor sport.

    Bernard Hopkins deserves no respect.

Just for the record, I have all Joe Calzaghe and all Bernard Hopkins title fights and more on tape and I rewatch them again and again and there is no doubt in my mind about their commitment, heart and inteligence. Like Jim Lampley pointed out on HBO, you don't defend your titles for more than 10 years including unifications for nothing. Their fight in Planet Hollywood was technically, strategically good and sweet in detail but may have not looked pleasing in the match of styles. However, if you prefer to watch short slugfests or guys knocking each other down out of nowhere such as Foreman-Lyle, Moorer-Cooper, Liles-Littles, Angulo-Kirkland, Pettway-Brown, Mike Tyson's 1st and 2nd round KO's and David Tua's knockouts, I don't see anything wrong with that but then don't come saying you are a pure sweet science fan...

try dislocating your shoulder and you'll get the meaning of crying. Hopkins was remarkably restrained given the pain he must have been in.

Let me get this one straight. You r gonna judge one fighter and his career based on his behaviour outside the ring with former trainers and opponents, and cause you don't like his attitude and personality and also cause he is supposed to fake injuries at age 47? Think again on an unbiased fashion, relax, see that he does that - the racist comment against Joe, throwing down the PR flag against Tito, being all nice and then bumping foreheads on the eve of his fight with Kelly and putting his hand on Winky's face - see that on the perspective that a great fighter plays out also to psyche his opponents out and make them fight out of character... Or was Muhammad Ali someone who does not deserve respect. They are even black muslims to start with... Relax.

Has he "always been adament" about not being beaten by a white fighter? That's funny because before he made that stupid comment to Joe Calzaghe he never gave any indication that he was "adament" about not being beaten by a white boy. Back to my original point: There's no such thing as "reverse" racism, you ****ing '****. Racism is simply racism regardless of which race you believe to be "infurrior".

He did not just start faking injuries. He always has some **** excuse when he gest even remotely hard for hi. He has been a very good boxer, but he anybody who fights the way he does and cheats, by faking injuries and hitting illegaly deserves no respect.

Looks like he may be fighting Dawson again, when Hopkins wins; I expect apologies :D
